Ordered the small for my son who wears a 4T-5T (he needs 5T in length but has a slim waist) and the sizes on the costume i received state it is for sizes 4-6. It is made well and hell be able to wear it for Halloween but its snug around the shoulders and neck possibly due to the muscle part of the suit. I would recommend the next size up if your child is a 5/6 in size. The mask fits well but he complained about the Velcro part poking him under the chin so ill have to wrap some felt around it when he wears it. Its the same quality as the costumes you can purchase at Halloween shops and Walmart. Its not meant nor is it built to last forever. It is however made well enough to be used for Halloween or a costume party and then thrown into a dress up bin for play. This is the first costume I've bought where the boot parts are actually nice and work well normally they are horrible dont come with an elastic strap are misshapen and too short to cover the shoe. These however are sewn and shaped well have the strap that goes under the shoe and cover the shoe nicely. I also normally have issue with the masks on costumes but not with this one the fit was very nice. Over all I am very pleased with this costume and it is exactly what my son wanted for halloween. ... show more

So bad it actually mad us all laugh hysterically. I obviously was not expecting anything AMAZING because, I mean, it's a $30 kids costume. But omg. This must be made by multiple manufacturers, because some reviews say "very small", and some pictures say "true to size". But there is just no way. My son is a HUGE 5 year old. I got the size specified for his clothing size, and this is huuuuuuuuuge. The scratchy Velcro edges made him very uncomfortable and the "muscles" are very cardboard-ish. It actually came dented just from shipping, and rode super high up on his neck. The pants portion is way too big, which is usually where my son has an issue with clothing being too small....We definitely can't use it for Halloween, and it has to be sent back, but we appreciate the giggles. Back to the drawing board....haha ... show more

Costume was damaged upon opening. The very center of the costume was noticeably discolored and faded. There were several threads hanging from all over the seams of the costume. Also, one of the lighting bolts on the headpiece was halfway hanging off. It wasn’t sown on at all- there wasn’t even a thread there were it might’ve been hanging before. The costume ran VERY large. Sizing was way off. Very poorly made. I reached out to customer service about this issue and they offered me a 10% refund (which totaled less than $3). I declined this refund as it wasn’t even enough to cover the repairs of the damage if I was to attempt to correct them myself. ... show more

The costume that arrived was sewn poorly - the mask was falling apart before my son put it on... The Velcro holding it together wasn't fully sewn on, and the stitching around the mask is horrendous. The costume itself isn't bad... It did come with multiple strings hanging all over it (whoever sewed this together did a poor job). The only thing I didn't like about the actual design is that the back is completely open for some reason. I am returning, but will reorder because my son really wants to be Flash for Halloween. Hopefully the next one is in better condition. I may have to sew some Velcro on the back to help close it up. ***Received a second costume. The mask is slightly better than the first, but the chest plate on this one has giant permanent creases across it. It is also poorly sewn. Guess this one is going back too. ****Ordered a third. Came with a giant hole in the top of the mask. Seriously?! Glad I kept second order so I can send back the defective costume from order 2 and defective hat from order 3. Ridiculous. ... show more

It came with creases and dents in the muscles. I ordered a size small petite and it looks more like a large, the legs are to long and the sleeves are to short. I bought it for a 45# five year old the top half looks like it was made for his age and weight but the bottom half ( the legs) look like they are for a ten year old, very unhappy overall with this product and probably will never order again from this company, I love Amazon though ... show more

My four year-old was super stoked to get this and is very excited for Halloween, so that’s five stars if he was rating this. But the costume is very tight in odd areas - it won’t clasp behind his neck without choking him, and he’s a skinny little guy, too. The lightning bolts on the mask flop around as if they were puppy dogs ears, so he looks a little silly and now I’m going to sew them down. And the muscular chest part is actually some type of cardboard, so I definitely don’t want to push this in the washing machine. I imagine it’s not going to last very long, even if we do take care of it. I didn’t break the bank for this one, but I had hoped it would be friendlier out-of-the-box. ... show more

Bought for birthday gift for my kid. Decent, chest plate was hard/awkward and my child didn't like it. The costume is cute, cheap costume belt and mask. Costume gets 3 star. But total transaction 2. Received as promised to longtime Prime member but The size was too big, and went to return, charging me $6.22 to return. Better off going to store next time. I thought Prime members got free returns.
