I bought this for my Halloween costume. I’m 5’11 and broad shouldered. So a kids size cape wouldn’t have worked. My only complaint is that there is no string tie, it has Velcro strap that should be much longer. But it worked an, and looked great.

This cape is made of light weight - but not see-through - material. It seems to be well-made with good seams. The collar is lightly padded so that it will stand up, and there is a velcro tab closure at the neck. I took off 1 star because if you attach the velcro tabs, the collar edges stand up over your face. There needs to be a tie closure instead of velcro so that the neck will be adjustable. I will probably have to sew some ribbon on each side of the neck to fix the problem. The length is about right for most adults, but since the bottom edge is not hemmed, it can easily be cut off to make the cape shorter if needed.. ... show more

I ordered for my daughter an expensive vampire costume that wasn't a direct buy from an internet shop. it shipped to China in a week but was sent as a local package a day after the holiday and arrived 2 weeks late, though I told the seller (that was virtual!!) I am a plus sized person and this still fits perfectly. I was very worried that it would look like I was wearing a kids cape, but it doesn't. I will say that as a 6ft tall person the length is exactly as expected... "Short" FOR me means exactly right for average height people.

This product is a very cheap looking, all black, 1 layer cape made of 100% polyester. The stand up foam collar is cheesy looking and overly large. There is no lining in blue as shown on the product image, which is what I had been counting on. Be aware that you get what you pay for! I'm going to Frederick's of Hollywood for my replacement cape. It might cost $40, but it'll be worth it for a satin, reversible cape w/hood! ... show more

Everythint was bad. It was way shorter than advertised, paper thin - like a kids toy costume. It was thinner than a shirt. I am offended by the stark contrast of the photo and the product received. I want a refund of my express shipping also.

I like this cape overall. The fabric is lighter weight but doesn't seem to be too cheap. The cape lands about an inch above the floor and I am 5'9. The only thing I will say is that the foam collar tends to be a little unwieldy and needs to be adjusted throughout the night. Overall this makes a good addition to my costume. ... show more
