I just bought a stove with a built-in cast iron grill (removable grill plate). Normally it would be a lot of work to scrub down the entire grill plate after cooking something messy like burgers or meat. The end of this tool is slightly sharp so you can quickly and easily scrape off your grill and then finish up with a bit of soap and water.

I originally ordered this to use with my husband's new Blackstone griddle, but it's so heavy and well made, that he's also used it to chop up pulled pork and chorizo and is finding additional uses for it every day. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. If you are on the fence, this is a great value for an amazing tool. It fits in your hand well and is slightly textured so that your hand doesn't slide around on the handle. It has a really sharp blade/end and cleans the griddle well, but as stated, also works great for chopping meats. Amazing find!

Very nice heavy duty griddle scraper, great for the new blackstone grills, it is sturdy and the handle fits well in your hand. It is easy to clean, just toss in the dishwasher too. Great product.

Companies love using this word even sometimes when it doesn't apply. That is not the case here. I brought out my caliper and was able to check the thickness of the steel and it came out to 0.8mm which is quite thick for something like this. There is an acute bevel on the steel but it's not sharp like a knife. The handle has plenty of girth to grip so you don't have to worry about it slipping. There is a nice amount of plastic that if your hand did manage to slip then you wouldn't hurt yourself on the steel. Very nice little scrapper. I think you would be hard pressed to find one better for $9.99
