Flexibility and class, this piece is perfect to elevate the laundry room area. The black color was true to the description. I was worried it might be cheap in appearance, but I was surprised to find a quality piece for the price we purchased it at. I love how the shelf gives you storage but the flat top sits snug to the washer and dryer to provide a laundry area to fold and prep clothing. I really like this addition to our laundry room, but we had to do a little extra engineering to make it better. We added a rubber base on the bottom for better traction, and added sides that hold it in place on top of the washer and dryer. We found that the vibration from the washer caused the shelf to move around a lot, and these additions keep it in place. It looks very nice. ... show more

Man, this countertop changed my laundry game. When I installed the Royxen unit on top of my washer and dryer, I couldn’t believe how sturdy and roomy it was: the shelf held detergent, softener, cleaning spray — all within easy reach. I used to pile random bottles on top of the washer and it always looked messy; now with Royxen it’s neat and organized, and I don’t worry about stuff falling or sliding when the washer vibrates. The build feels solid — the surface is smooth enough to fold clothes or sort laundry at a glance. Last week I loaded a full washer cycle and still had enough space on top to fold towels right after. Installation was straightforward (especially since I’d already done a lot of home-maintenance work) — it locked in tightly, no wobble.
