I bought these cookies for both the expected classic flavor of the "tried & true" recipe for the almost bite-size delectable butter cookies from the bakeries of Royal Dansk in Denmark, but also for the very low pricing of the product which is obviously worth a much higher price-point. The low pricing of this selection allows for an incredible value of this long-cherished food product made in Denmark. I can recall my mother buying these cookies in their trademark metal tins for many years, and it was hard to resist pilfering one or two..or a handful of these buttery-flavored cookies whenever my mother had them out enjoying them as one of her favorite 'after-meal snacks'! It wasn't long before I 'got bit' by the buttery flavor 'bug' and the crumbly texture!😋 I highly recommend this food product selection especially while it is being offered at the current 'low price' of just under $5! That's clearly a bargain price for a highly-esteemed edible product from a legendary European bakery!..and when you are finished with devouring the cookies you get a classic stamped-metal 'cookie tin' to use for stowing away 'whatever'! This review needs only a few comments. Excuse my repeating myself, but these cookies are delicious. I have bought multiple tins. Nicely packaged. Once you open the tin, you'll be tempted to eat more than you should. Try to resist. Sometimes you will not succeed. Can everyone say, "Mmmmmm?"

While this product isn't new to me, it's always a pleasure to get a new tin of them. They're not something I have on hand often, maybe during the holiday season and at other times when I find a deal. Still, when I sit down and eat a few, I wonder why they aren't a regular staple at my house! This was such a good price and the sweet, subtle, buttery taste of the cookies can't be beat. Yeah, there are generic brands out there but I like knowing I'm getting the quality of Royal Dansk.

My dad loves these cookies. He always flips the container over to verify either from Denmark or China. He can taste the difference and he loves the real danish cookies. You will LOVE these cookies! Perfect with coffee & tea!

I'm not a cookie person. I don't really appreciate chocolate chip cookies, even. (I know this makes me a freak.) I do appreciate a good sugar cookie and a good butter cookie and this cookie canister contains both. The sugar cookies are un-iced, which is better for my health, and there are a surprising number of cookies in this container (short stacks of 4 in 5 (or maybe 4) different recipes, but for a total of 20 cookies). The only bad thing to say about this can of cookies is that there is only are only 2 stacks of butter cookies (8 in all). Still, each of the five recipes is tasty in its own way. I keep ordering them, so I must like them. They're the only cookies I eat and the price is exceptionally low. As I'm not a cookie person, I have no idea how giftable this cannister is, but I like receiving it.

I ordered these at 4 in the morning because I was really craving some cookies lol I was surprised how quickly Amazon was able to get the package to me for same day arrival, and the tin arrived in great condition! I used to receive these type of cookies for Christmas as a gift, and these cookies tasted just as delicious as I remembered them. Great flavor and great quality! I'd order them again they're so good :D
