I read all of the reviews before taking a chance and ordering these. I am so glad that I did! The reviews about there being a thick uncomfortable seam on the inside of the (right) shoe were accurate. At first I thought there was no way I was going to keep them. But then I remembered several reviews that said the shoe fit improved and the seam didn’t bother them after breaking them in. I’ve had the shoes a few weeks now and worn them maybe three times. The seam was uncomfortable the first time I put them on but I quickly forgot about it a few minutes later. Repeat experience the second go around. By the third time I wore them I had completely forgotten about the seam. Give these shoes a chance to conform to your foot. What I really like: They have a very nice cushion. The back of the shoe does not cut into my heal or rub it raw. Super cute!! I have cankles so this style of shoe is very flattering to my foot. I was looking for a casual flat that didn’t have a stark white sole with this style of cut. Incredibly comfortable shoe and I’m so glad I didn’t send them back!!

**SIZE: order your normal size shoe!!!!! these shoes WILL come a tad smaller than the size you ordered, and for good reason, they need to expand and fit your foot, but not so much to the point that they are slipping off. But once you put them on they are TTS. They stretch, the material is not hard or pointy digging into your feet. Just put them on and walk around a bit and the shoe will stretch. Took me no longer than 2 minutes and my feet sat comfortably in the shoe. I ordered my normal size of 7.5 and depending on the shoes from other brands I can go to 7.5-8, but having purchased these before, I knew they would conform to my feet so I stuck with the smaller of the sizes for me. **FIT: I’ve seen other reviews mentioning the seam or sewing on the inside digging into their feet, that might just be while the shoes are stretching, but it does not last any longer than that. Even without socks you do not feel the seam, the reviews who say they do, bought too small of a size. Order your normal size. Also true width size for the shoe, your toes have enough room as well, it does not taper inwards at the toe. **COLOR: coloring of shoe is true to photo **CUSHION: if you need more cushion in your shoes, these are for you because they have so much padding. But it adjusts to your feet and weight distribution. So it’s not the annoying padding that is too high and leaves your foot half hanging out, your foot will still sit comfortably in the shoe, and the heel will not slide down. **HEEL: as I have just stated, the heel does not ride down, nor will your foot slip out of the heel in these shoes. They conform to your foot, but the heel DOES NOT dig into your Achilles which is all you can ask for **OVERALL: I’ve purchased these year after year and the fact that you can get them at the same price as the roxy store with free 2 day shipping is amazing. They fit the feet incredibly well, but they are not something you just slip in and out of, you do need to take the effort to put it on and take it off instead of an oversized shoe that you just slip on. They are comfortable for a long day walking (gone to many amusement parks for the day in these), but also have enough padding to support your arches even just sitting at an office job. highly recommend.

I hope this review helps someone. I worn these shoes around the house to brake them in for a few days but my feet were so sore and kinda numb-ish. I have wide feet not too wide but wide enough to have to buy a half a size up in almost every shoe. The shoe is true slip ons but the toe box is very tight. I wont be sending them back because no one wants to buy brand new shoes someone else broke in expertly with wide feet. I will be giving them to good will. The 3 stars are because they are soooo cute! Nice convos and good padding. I wish the fit wasn't so weird ☹

The shoes look fabulous and fit true to size, however.. there are flaws on the inside that make them uncomfortable. The area where the shoe is sewn together (near the top of the foot) there is extra material overalap and it feels like having a scratchy rock inbetween the top of your foot and the shoe at the contact point. The main material is soft, but whatever thread they used to sew them together is really scratchy. I did keep the shoes. I cut as much of the excess material off as I could using small scissors and then used toenail clippers to get in the shoe where scissors wouldn't angle. They are a lot better! With that flap of extra material gone, they are way more comfortable and way less scratchy. I attached photos to show where the extra material is. I DO NOT have senstive feet at all, but if I hadn't removed that material, I know I would have gotten blisters. Now I can wear them comfortably with short no show socks and they are fine.

I read so many reviews before buying these shoes. I was looking for comfy, cute, breathable slip-ons I could throw in the washing machine when they got dirty. Of concern to me were the reviews that talked about an inside seam by the little toes. Most only deducted a star for that problem; these reviews seemed to be written soon after receiving the shoes and most hoped they would stretch out sufficiently to not be a problem. I'm reporting that after two months of almost regular wearing and washing twice the seam-pain problem has NOT decreased. I can only wear these for a short amount of time before it becomes unbearable, which is a shame because they fit well and are comfortable except for the seam problem - but I don't want to wear socks or any other insoles with these.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Roxy Schooner V Minnow shoes I have worn for the past several years, which were so comfortable from day one. These are not nearly as comfortable and definitely fit narrower. The elastic in them digs into the sides of my feet, the canvas fabric is rough and the top of the back of the left shoe is digging into the back of my ankle. I went a size up and am hoping they’ll soften up over time, as I really like the style of this shoe. But really wish I could still get the old Roxy sneaker.
