  • Made this for my daughter-in-law

  • Very well made
Color: Sam's Study
First instructions are in English..yeah!! 2nd, the parts are very well made and colored. Have made others where the wood pieces arrived warped and cracked. These pieces are perfect and match the part lists perfectly. Will definitely purchase the brand again. Very pleased.

  • Good overall
Color: Jason's Kitchen
The house was fun to make but I was struggling a bit on the electric and since I didn’t have more than enough materials it made me rush. But overall it was pretty fun to do!

  • Fun!
Color: Sam's Study
This was so fun! I skipped the light part because the instructions kind of suck but most of the rest is self explanatory. I gave it four stars instead of five because some of the wood was warped, therefore, my furniture was crooked.

  • So cute!
Color: Miller's Garden
I loved this project. The materials were high quality, except some of the wire was too soft for the more extensive projects. It turned out amazing even though I had to improvise a little. Everyone loves it!

  • I've been stumped
Color: Cathy's Flower House
Imagine my aggravation when I opened my new kit for Cathy's flower house and found that 3 of the pieces had already been put together. Not that big a deal except two of them were messed up. The shelf 2 was all crooked and not easy to fix. The door had been glued together without the clear piece between the sections. I had to use a clear piece from another kit. There was glue on a page of my instructions so guess that is where they worked on them. Unless you have the patience of a saint, forget about doing this kit. I have done 7 other kits like this and have never had this much frustration. I couldn't seem to make the small flowers so used other items in place of flowerpots. Small seashells fit nicely. Be patient when putting it all together. It took me a little time to get the sections fitted together but they did pop together. My glue of choice is Aleenes original tacky glue. It comes in clear gel also. I used an Elmer's glue stick when putting together the paper items like plant leaves. It is a cute item and just remember you don't have to make it exactly like the pictures. If you decided to go ahead with it in spite of my bad review ---good luck have fun. I was able to finally get the clear cover put together. As I got each tab in place, I put a small piece of blue painter's tape over it to prevent it from popping out of the slot. The tape was easily removed at the end. It did turn out to be a cute addition to my other models. ... show more

  • Sick of puzzles? Time on your hands? You should get these miniature room kits.
Color: Sam's Study
In an effort to reduce the free time we were spending on screens, I purchased several miniature room build kits to do with my 16-year-old daughter in our free time. For the first phase of pandemic, puzzles were a great way to kill time without technology, and we needed something similar but felt puzzled out. Let me tell you... this was great fun! A little challenging at times - some of the pieces (especially leaves and flowers in the garden room kit) are incedibly tiny and intricate, and once you have glue hands it was very difficult to keep working on them. We started with garden room, then did a little apartment-type one from another brand, and then the bookstore/study. I would sit and cut and glue while listening to an audiobook or podcast and before I knew it, hours would have passed. I mean, I'd look down and see that I'd only built a handful of tiny items in that time, which was laughable, but it was so soothing and a great way to break from electronics and the hustle and bustle. Tips from me, basically a pro (as long as you don't zoom in on the pics, I'm totally pro-level): Pick up some krazy glue/super glue/gorilla glue and some glue sticks - the glue supplied is ok but sometimes the quick set of a thin layer of superglue is best. Also have an exacto-knife and cutting mat on hand if you have one - not necessary, but helpful. Take a look through the instructions before you start and assess what order to do things in. I also used a piece of cardboard to create sections in a shoebox so as I completed things, they could safely go into a section to dry or until we were ready to put them where they belong. If you are balking at the price tag, let me assure you they are well worth it. Even if we end up tossing the completed projects out down the line because space is limited here, we spent SO MANY HOURS on these it was absurd, and it was satisfying along the way as we pulled sections together. I really feel like miniature kits like this are great and have been telling everyone I know about them! Just get one, you'll love it! ... show more

  • Not as easy as I thought
Color: Simon's Coffee
I like to have things to keep busy. I thought this would be great. I quickly realized that this is not for me. I started the project, but then I realized this was way too involved. If you love building miniatures then this is probably great for you. There was millions of bits and pieces. I found it very overwhelming. There is sooooo much to it and I found the instructions very confusing. People who are familiar and fluent with these builds may find this to be easy to understand but it was too much for me and I gave up shortly after starting. ... show more
