  • Sway bar disconnects
The media could not be loaded. For the money, I say 10/10 the hardware pins for location when disconnected needed bend a little to login up but worth the buy

  • Installation note!!!!
You do not need a t55 torx!!!! The axle pins are pressed in not screwed in on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. They seem a little long for 4" lift.

  • Great product, no issues.
No issues. All found satisfactory, i used it for my ZJ. I had to do some cutting/adjustments on passenger side, but besides that im very happy with it... A++

Super easy to reconnect and disconnect. This product allows you to have a great experience both on the road and off the road. Should have bought it sooner!

  • PRO TIP!!!
I discovered an excellent way to drive out the old sway bar link studs on your jeep. Chances are you have a U joint pusher tool and if you dont then make sure you get one. Basically this tool is a big C clamp with a hole in the end which nicely allows you to crank large amounts of energy on that stubborn stud and allow it to pop out the end. If you try to hammer those studs, even with heat, chances are you will bend or break the mount to the axle. Review: So these sway bar links seems great. They are adjustable for height and tension which is awesome and they seem to come with some extra hardware. Pretty darn easy to install too. If you follow the tip I wrote above you will have no problems whatsoever. I did not experience any of the QC issues other reviewers did, though that doesn't mean they are wrong. I also used lock tite on all threads so I could worry a little less about anything coming loose. All the hardware seemed strong enough to handle the task but time will tell. I will update this review with any changes and maybe some pictures (once the weather is a little more cooperative) ... show more

  • Acknowledged by the mfr that they "do not really fit 3.5' lifts". However,...
You can cut and rethread the lower stem of the links, and you'll be ok. GENERAL ASSESMENT The material and build quality of the kit are good. Steel is as promised, but the i dont expect the bushing to last too long given theyre not particulary stiff rubber (vs urethane). The pins responsible for keeping the links in place while connected are an odd "D" shaped fastener that doesnt inspire a ton of confidence and are perhaps better suited for a use case for a project car vs mine which is a daily on-road driver. Adjustability comes in the form of a single nut connecting the top and bottom of the links. This nut more or less constitutes the backbone or the part's strength and rigidity, so its advisable to apply some threadlocker. I didnt originally and found myself tightening that nut nearly every 72 hours or 10 miles of driving. APPLICATION 99 XJ Sport on a 3.5" Old Man Emu lift with close to perfect suspension geometry beyond the swaybar issues; The previous owner was running stock links which are too short given the higher stance. Limited articulation was causing the factory links to bend to ~45 degrees within minutes of normal driving. These chronically bent factory links would then jut into my springs making for a terrible feeling and sounding road experience. ISSUES They resolved that issue but created a different one: the tops of the links would smash the engine compartment above them resulting in holes below the intake and battery areas. RESOLUTION Taking off close to 3 inches and rethreading so that the sway bar rests close to parallel of the ground seems to have resolved everrything. I'm now free to enjoy only driving to and from the store down the street given its $10 a gallon for gasoline in SF. ... show more

  • Not up to it
This product is not strong enough. All the connections get loose quickly. I would have given it just one star, but the general concept on this product was decent. It's just not strong enough.

  • Other than that these are amazingly easy to install
Beware: When these say 3.5-6.5 inch lifts, they mean it. Yes it will fit a 3 inch lift. As that is what I have done. But they will bottom out into your fender resulting in a large dent and eventually a hole. "Ask me how I know" The only reason I have them on with my 3 inch lift now is I already have coil spacers to pair with my rough country lift and new rear leafs to be a total of 4 inches. Other than that these are amazingly easy to install. I would recommend referencing the directions as I watched an online video that misguided me leaving me puzzled. But they seem to be very well built and they will help make my trail going experience much more fun in the feature. Again I recommend these and am loving how they work. UPDATE: They fit and work perfectly with my now 4.5 inch front lift. Highly recommended piece of hardware. And they make front axel and suspension work a breeze! Quick tip: File the ends of the pins to a short point. Makes inserting the pins much easier. ... show more
