A very nice kit, as I have always gotten from RC. The rear blocks are urethane or whatever plastic it is, but I don’t see them failing…sort of wish it was a shackle and pinion angle kit, but I it seems high quality and designed well enough, and the U-bolts are as well. The shocks are awesome and are definitely better than most aftermarket stock replacements and you cannot beat the price. ... show more

Was very impressed with the 2 1/2” level kit on my 2002 f-150. Fairly ez install with basic tools. The ride quality is very good too. The shocks are a must buy if your lifting your vehicle. Wish they would put torque specs in the instructions.

Would not recommend this to anyone, I wanted to just lift the front end a little to level it out, I did the keys fist, wasn't to bad to install them, the kit comes with 1 inch blocks for the rear, id recommend that they are not installed, because with when the blocks are installed you have to crank the torsion keys alot to level the front with the rear, in return your front suspension is maxed out and your going to be replacing a lot off suspension stuff months after installing this kit, it took both my CV axles out, had to buy new and replace them, the shocks this kit came with are not that great, the rubber bushing keep wearing out in the front, going to pull them off ... show more

    • Great Kit, I love it
A couple of tips, the installation time may take you longer on an older vehicle as the torsion keys can rust and get really stuck on. A twenty dollar propane torch to heat them up helps with removal. The Rancho front shocks that I removed would no longer extend on their own so the new shocks really help. On first installation the front end is sitting 3 inches higher and the truck is level. I may adjust it down a bit. Do not forget to adjust your headlights down afterwards and get a front end alignment. I will load some photos later. ... show more

The people who installed this kit were a legit Goodyear dealer and went off of Rough Country's pricing list. All good there... But there were problems getting it installed properly and it took an extra day (at their expense). The issue is that they couldn't use the rear lift blocks because it lifted the truck too far. when the job was done there was not a lot of difference in ride height, and the tires (33x12.5x18s) still rubbed a tiny bit in reverse. This was the whole reason for buying this kit!! To do over again, I would but a small lift kit, like 3 or 4 inches... ... show more

Don’t use the rear blocks they are plastic. Other than that the kits ok.
