Even though this is a Digital ACU pattern it is really kind of hidden as part of the design. What I mean is you have to pretty much unfold it and look at it to notice the camo pattern which is great in my opinion as that is part of the nature of camouflage. There are a million uses for a shemagh beyond the well known tactical applications. Which it works very well for. I like it for camping in the fall/winter seasons as it can replace a few things in my pack. I have successfully used it as a towel, scarf, hat, face cover during chilly winds and sleeping, feet blanket, rag, to hang my bag up high in a tree, cover my pack to be used as a pillow, sun umbrella, tent window curtain, dish towel, and some of the loose threads as tinder for fire starting. This particular brand is quite thick compared to others and isn't see through like some of the others. It also doesn't fall apart from being washed and dried. I have had them shrink on me during long hot dry cycles so I just air dry and iron them and have no more issues. I haven't had it fade either even after more than 10 washes. Its a great product and very handy to have. I also very much appreciate patterns that are outside of the more traditional designs. ... show more

A shemagh is one of the most useful garments you can own! It can provide head, face or neck protection. It can be used as a sling, bandage, water filter for solids. This particular scarf is well made and appears to be of good material. I had washed it as soon as it arrived and there isn't any odor or fraying. I was surprised how warm it kept my head, ears and face during rifle deer season in Michigan. Would recommend. ... show more

Look no further. Rothco shemaghs Are the best by far I’ve found yet. I have 3 now. They are thick and actually usable. They don’t smell like a meth lab and they look cool. Will buy more!

Exactly what I expected. No serious flaws or problems with it. Hand washed, it kept its color. Soft, good color contrast, looks authentic, but I've never seen an 'issue' one.

Well made. I did hand wash it prior to using. Added a little vinegar to the rinse to set the die. Now it's perfect! Would buy from seller again.

Been using it for several months now and it is holding up OK. A few frays but nothing terrible. Some of the tassels had to the retied but they look fine. No fade in the color. I bought the desert digital camo one and l am very happy with it. The quality is very good with the center portion feeling pretty thick however the out portion is pretty thin but ever shemagh I own is like that.
