I bought these for use in the living room during meal times/snack times. The handles are really nice and sturdy, making using them super easy. Easily supports stonewear plates and cups and such! Cleaning them is really simple as well, just wipe down the top when you're done. If you need to clean the pillow just snap it apart from the tray with the buttons and give it a wash. These trays are much nicer to use than folding trays. Besides, folding trays take up a lot of space when you're not using them even when you fold them up and put them away. They're awkward to use and can easily get knocked over on accident. Honestly I had no idea these existed until last year when I bought them. It's so much nicer to just have your comfy pillow in your lap with your tray and eat anyway. It has a nicer feel. Cozy. On the other more crafty side. I like to make amigurumi and other yarn creations, and I find having this in my lap makes working on the couch really nice as I can have all my tools organized right there in my lap and not worry about losing tiny stitch markers into the couch or a tiny needle falling out of my case and sticking me later on down the road because it fell onto the couch cushions and bit me in my behind later XD This would also make a lovely laptop work station for people who often fly or like to work sitting up in bed late at night. Or for those late night readers who are maybe reading a heavy thick book that gets to be annoying to hold up when you're tired XD Anyway, It is totally worth the money. Once you get one you honestly will wonder why you didn't know about these sooner. These are super super cute as well. These are great! They are super sturdy and cute to boot I was worried they may tip, if I didn't put my "emotional support water bottle" (as my husband calls it) perfectly in the middle, but even on one side, or the other, these hold the weight really well. The side that goes on your leg feels like a bean bag char and molds to your legs really well, making these pretty sturdy. We debated buying them for a while, cause they're not exactly cheap, but now we are so glad we have them and use them all the time - yes, we eat dinner on the couch a lot 😁 ... show more

This is a really nice tray. The beanbag bottom is comfortable, the material doesn't slip, and if you remove the beanbag bottom the snaps don't extend out from the wood tray itself. I frequently use the tray with a trivet to catch condensation or drips, and I can also conveniently store the trivet by slipping it in between the underside of the tray and beanbag top. I'm very pleased with this tray, it looks nice and the handle areas feel good to carry, beanbag bottom seems just right for me too. ... show more

Outstanding product! I love the fact that the table made out of bamboo. It's got handles and it's got a raised edge that comes around the whole thing. I love the attached pillow underneath and the beads that are used. It's the exact amount so it molds to my legs as I'm using it. It's very comfortable for eating my meals in front of the TV. I'm able to do my crafts with it as well. I highly would recommend it. The price was also wonderful compared to other sites that were charging upwards of three times more for the same exact product. Plus I've used TV trays with legs and it makes it better than TV trays cuz it's closer to you and because it does not have legs you don't have the issue you do with standard TV trays where you could accidentally bump the legs and spill your food onto the floor like I've done in the past. I have been looking for a couple of lap trays to go with my new sofa. My guests have been having trouble eating dinner while sitting on the sofa using just pillows. There were a number of tray options on Amazon, but I was drawn to these for a few reasons. They are well made & high quality trays. They don't feel cheap, quite the opposite, but they are still lightweight. They're just the perfect size for the average lap, able to hold a normal sized plate & utensils, etc without a problem. The cherry on top is the detachable cushion. That allows these trays to serve double-duty. You can use them with the cushion as normal lap trays, or remove the cushion, either to wash it or in order to use the tray standalone. The color choices of the wood/cushions is also very good.
