The media could not be loaded. I love the look of this lap desk! I got the darker wood toned one because it had a darker toned pillow. I didn't want to worry about every little mark. However, the cushion pillowcase is removable for washing. I mainly got this to use for beading, since it has a lip all of the way around. Works great. It's a little less comfortable as a computer desk, but still great since I am able to make jewelry with it. NOTE: I took one star off because the first time I ran my finger along the interior edge of the lip, just to show my husband, I got a small splinter. I really hope this doesn't happen again. The wood truly doesn't feel it should give you any splinters at all. With this being said, I still would repurchase. ... show more

I bought this for my 96-year-old mother who lunches in an armed chair. The side rails are low enough not to interfere with the use of utensils, the cushion is quite firm, snaps on to the frame and has a zipper so it can be washed and the inner foam accessed/removed. The cushion material grips clothing and aids in keeping the tray from sliding; a pleasant surprise. This is a great little lap desk. It is well made and the rails keep your pens from rolling off. It is also an attractive wood-grain color, which adds to it a more formal appearance. The bottom 'bean' bag is comfortable and is attached with metal snaps, for easy removal for cleaning.

This is a great tray, it’s super light weight, you can hardly feel it in your lap. It’s beautifully made and serves it’s purpose well. I really appreciate the fact that the side that faces you does not have a side rail on it, which makes this lap table more comfortable to eat at or or do some writing all while lounging in my recliner.
