    • Took me far too long to figure out
I've had these for over a year and at some point gave up - but kept them anyway. Just today - I figured out what was going on. Partially it's my own stupidity as I'd never used these sort of things. Part of it was in their description : "The top layer is white, which is the layer that your image will be transfered onto. The second layer is not bound and is purple. The third layer is the carbon (black/blue paper). By pressing on this layer the black/blue coating is transfered to the upper sheet. The bottom sheet is yellow and holds the original in place." The 'second layer' is not purple, at all. it's white. And, again, me being dense (But also with no further instructions beyond that) - I thought that the 'loose' white paper was what the carbon was supposed to transfer to - and could never get it to function. Today.... and just today... I decided that maybe that "purple" sheet was the white sheet... and I should draw on the top most white sheet to get the carbon to transfer onto the other side of it... AND BEHOLD. It worked. Famously. Like - almost too well. Transferred easily, like a dream - and was able to be placed multiple times. The blue does.... stick around a bit. I mostly got it off my arm, but its still on my fingers! haha ... show more

i thought this whole kit was well put together! i will have to order anothe one though, because one of the guns i dropped broke in half but it was my fault. the material is a little brittle! still a great kit to BUY!!!
