These decorations are nice! You get a lot for what you pay for and this "kit" basically comes with everything you need. One piece of advice I can give you is that it will take at least two people to put these decorations together and you should definitely put them together AHEAD of time, so that all you do during the actual event is blow up the balloons (we used an electric balloon pump for the regular ones to save time) and put up the decorations. A second piece of advice is to bring double-sided tape (for the metal balloons) and also Alien tape (this made everything else easy to stick on the wall and also it was easy to take off). ... show more

Everything looks pretty, as advertised. I assumed the word banners would come pre-assembled, but you do have to slide each letter on the string, which takes some time. The big “40” are a little difficult to inflate, and I punctured a hole in the 0 while attempting this (my fault) but I have historically had a difficult time with these type of balloons. You get a decent amount of decorations for the cost. One thing I wasn't expecting (but appreciated in the end) was that the lettering is not pre-strung. It will take you probably 15 minutes to string both signs, but its worth not having a rat's nest that you would have spent twice as long trying to straighten out. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to go for it anyway and I'm very happy I did!! Every last little thing was as pictured ! The metallic balloons were metallic, all held their inflation perfectly...no problems! They even included the metallic ribbon to tie at the bottom of the balloons if you wanted. Cute looking but brought the balloons the be blown up and the 4 burst at the seams. I only had a zero for the party. Also the kit comes with a plastic needle and you have to weave all the letters together to make the signs.

I purchased this set as decorations for our daughter's birthday party. The balloons that have "stars" do NOT look like the photo. The stars are not printed on the balloons. They are loose pieces inside the balloon itself and do not float when the balloon is inflated with helium. They just lie at the bottom of the balloon and look stupid. See the photo I am posting. The "rose gold" balloons do not have that bright shiny look as advertised. The white balloons are not a solid, opaque color. The balloons are regular balloons, not the shiny type, and are not opaque as depicted on the website. The cut out words took some time to assemble but looked fine and are pretty good quality. These aren't the worst decorations I've ever seen, but I would not purchase again. Without the fun 'star' balloons, the set looks very ordinary and unimpressive. The only balloons in the set that are the shiny, opaque look are the "4" and "0". I added the balloon that says Happy Birthday to jazz it up a bit. Disappointing. ... show more
