Bought this about a year ago and just used it for the first time. Was working good till it didn't. Puller completely failed at the worst time. Don't waste money on this. I got lucky, you might not. Spend the extra money on a more reliable unit

I'm really happy with this rope puller / come-along. I ordered it to assist with taking down a tree that was uncomfortably close to my house, and it worked great. I used this to put some tension on the tree, in the direction that I wanted it to fall, by anchoring it to another (larger) tree... and it worked like a charm. It seems to be well-made, sturdy, and durable. It was no worse for the wear after my tree felling job. I think it's a good value for the money - especially considering how much I saved by not needing to call a professional tree service crew. I'd buy it again. Recommended.
