I installed it following the directions and ultimately the screws were just long enough to poke through the bottom of my cabinet and into the one below. (These shelves are meant for my cabinets that are really deep but above head height) If you have this situation go and buy #8 1/2 inch self tapping/ wood screws. And dont forget to drill pilot holes just in case. Would he 5/5 stars if there was a screw length that was meant to account for upper cabinets. ... show more

I specifically ordered this unit because the shelves moved independently, not realizing that the 11" width was for the entire unit including the mounting brackets, NOT just the shelves. While this was very sturdy and absolutely worked as advertised, the pots and pans I had carefully measured to be sure they would fit... well.... they didn't. I returned this product for one that had the mounting bracket underneath, so that the shelves were the full 11" that I needed. ... show more
