These are great shingles. They've held up nicely in the Michigan weather, with snow loads, ice, and wind. You don't get a lot in this order, but that is because they are for repairing spots where your roofing mau have blown off or is a bit worn out. There is enough included for a small dog house, chicken coop, rabbit hutch, etc. The shingles look good, I really like the color.

Pretty thin, kind of an odd size. 39 inches instead of the standard 36. But when you need a few shingles, and not an entire bundle, this can make sense. Plus it's hard to find a color that is close to what you have. I got pretty close with these.

PROS: Perfect for spot repairs, just like the one we needed after getting hit head-on by two CAT3 hurricanes last fall back-to-back. Arrived in vacuum-sealed packaging and in perfect condition. Great shade of "tan" that blended almost seamlessly with my current faded brown shingles. Nice construction and simple application instructions for straightforward installation. Perfect fit for replacing storm-damaged pool shed shingles. CONS: A bit thinner than my current shingles but did the job just fine!

So these are not quite as thick as most shingles and are a bit longer than usual. They also have faint red not a vibrant red. That said they are good for repairing or roofing a shed, small area that has less importance than say your house. For that they do a good job. They are goofy but not terrible the only real issue is that the you can get a bundle of better shingles that cover more area for 2/3 the price.

I used these CIPER black asphalt shingles for a small, wooden-roofed playhouse, that I have, and upcycled it into a Cat Hangout-House and was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, the packaging wasn't as solid. Two of the shingles arrived in crappy condition. They were broken on one corner, and the box had boot prints on it (as if someone had been stepping on it and kicking the box around). Also, they are much heavier than I expected. I had to ask my son to help me move the box off the porch. Installation was straightforward, especially with the included galvanized nails, which saved me a trip to the hardware store. The shingles feel durable and have held up well against recent wind gusts that blew a regular-sized city-issued trash can across the front yard. They’re definitely wind-resistant as advertised. Coverage was accurate for the listed dimensions, but keep in mind that 8 shingles only cover about 12.8 square feet (which was just shy of what I needed). So, plan accordingly if you’re tackling a larger area. Overall, a solid choice for DIYers or quick fixes. I knocked off one star only because I wish there were more shingles per pack for the price. Still, a reliable product that gets the job done.
