This is your typical polo shirt. My son is 38 in tall and 38 . It was a little shorter and lighter on his body than I was like once I cut the shirt in it was unnoticeable.

This polo shirt is a classic. The material is textured, not rough but not smooth. It did shrink up after washing, and it could be a little longer. I would size up for this reason. I also noticed the sides don't have a split hem like other brands, but that's a minor detail. The light blue color is a little brighter than other brands, but it will still meet the uniform requirements for our school.

It's amazing how difficult it is to find a nice boys' size polo that either doesn't fit funny or isn't extremely expensive for what it is. I took a bit of a chance on this one as I wasn't familiar with the brand, but I have to say, I will be ordering more for sure! I'd previously tried several other brands (Carters, Osh Kosh), and this one is right there with them in terms of quality. The black is deep and dark. My little guy has a bigger than average head, so the neck opening is *just big enough for him to squeeze through. Some brands we've had to return altogether (like Member's Mark - too small to even get over his head). These, however, were generous enough to get on and off, but not so big as to be sloppy around the neck once it's on. Great shirts! I'll be ordering more for sure.
