I bought these for my soon to be seven year old. The skates came in individual shoe bags, inside of a sturdy box. I thought the packaging was pretty cool. My daughter took them out of the bags and immediately tried them on. The way they were shipped fit her perfectly so we did not need to adjust the skates. These are her first pair of skates. I loved the lights on the wheels. The colors are very vivid. They honestly look great... Wish I had something as nice when I was a child. The skates are VERY light which I love. She can also secure the skates on her own which is nice not having to help all the time. I will be buying a second pair for my younger child. Bought this for my daughter and she loved it . Great summer gift and a skill to learn for 8 yr. old. My likes about this skates are it’s very fancy and bright color purple . Girl loved it. Overall quality built up material seems to be very strong. Kids love the wheel lighting feature . For me important was safety latch on ankle and secure sturdy shoe to avoid any collision injury. Only thing I did not like is it comes in one color purple. Need to buy for boy may be another product. ... show more

    • A bit big for my 8 year old, but room to grow

The colors are great and the materials are of good quality. The buckles and straps are easy enough for my 8-year old to do herself, but are simultaneously very durable and lock everything in place to prevent injury. The mechanism to lengthen to skate to accommodate my child as she grows is great and easy to use. It probably will buy you a couple shoe sizes, so that should be good for about a year or two. The wheels roll well, and are of good quality. I'm just not sure how long the batteries will last on the flashing wheels. The loop on the back of the skate is great for transporting. The skates also come in large reusable individual bags, but we've repurposed those for holding her wrist guards and knee pads as putting the skate in and out of the bag is a bit of a pain. She is currently zipping around the living room now as I type this review and she is as happy as a clam. ... show more

This was a gift for a granddaughter, so the adjustable size features were the attracting detail. She likes to roller skate up and down their driveway, and when outdoors is impractical, in the basement. The adjustments are needed to keep them comfortable since she is growing quickly. Pretty decent quality of roller skates with nice ankle protection. Adjustable size, my four years old can put them on by herself easily. And most importantly, it came in purple which is her favorite color.

She like the wheels, because they have lights bright when she play the roller skates. I also like these wheels, they are softer and suitable for taking her to the park with these roller skates.
