I got these skates for myself and they are very cool. It’s very stable and lights look so cool at night when I skate. It’s comfortable and don’t hurt my feet. These are my first skates and I feel they are a little heavier but I guess that’s necessary for skating else they won’t balance well.

They are a great color and the adjustable size has allowed our daughter to share with friends. On the down side the wheels come off sometimes. I suggest you watch an online video on how to adjust the wheels for smooth skating for your specific child.

For some silly reason I started by getting my 4 year old roller blades - which in hindsight is less than ideal. So we came around and changed it back to simpler times of four wheels on regular skates that will help with balance! We're still doing carpet skating at the moment but so far these are pretty nice skates. Great pink color with flashy wheels. She wants to use them all the time and we have to tell her no because her younger sister will surely want to use them also! Overall happy with these. Listed at almost $50 which seems a little high to me, but it comes with a lot of fun options and is size adjustable so should last a long time.

I'm so happy with these skates I got for my 9 year old. They're fully adjustable, both the length and around the ankles for the width. The light up wheels have taken a lot of abuse over the last 3 months and are still bright and working well. She skates everywhere in them and they've held up very well. She says they're really comfortable and I think they're so cute. I'd definitely recommend them.

So I have a confession to make: I bought these roller skates for myself, an adult, and not for my kids. I have always wanted to own a pair of skates but have not much experience with it except for faint memories of when I was younger and skating in a ring with my childhood crush. I'm still a beginner, and in my search for a pair of skates, I had accidentally bought a pair of rollerblades (inline skates) thinking they're the same. They're not. FYI, rollerblades aka inline skates are the one with one straight line of wheels, whereas roller skates have wheels on the left and right, which is what I wanted from the beginning but couldn't remember which is which. Embarrassingly, on rollerblades, I couldn't even stand upright on concrete for a few seconds without falling because I just couldn't find my balance. I personally feel it's safer for my balance as a beginner to have wheels side-by-side with both front brakes as in the roller skates, instead of just the inline wheels with only one back brake as in the rollerblades. I decided to search again for a pair of roller skates this time, and this led me to the kids and children section. The vibrant pink really caught my eyes, plus the rainbow shoelaces, and the light-up wheels. So despite my age, I bought the largest size of these kids roller skates, which is the large (3Y-6Y). I normally wear a woman size 8, and children's sizes are generally 2 sizes smaller than women's size. So a large (3Y-6Y) in children's size is equivalent of size 5-8 in women's size. The adjustable fit can adjusts up to 4 sizes, so I assumed it can adjust to size 5, 6, 7 and 8 in women's shoes. Surprisingly, I fit without any adjustment/extension necessary! I was expecting to have to extend it to the maximum level, but I actually didn't need to. I guess depending on the thickness of my socks, that would be an option for me to extend it for a better fit. Since I could fit without any adjustment and I normally wear size 8, I'm deducing that these skates may run larger, so I would recommend to size down if necessary. There's a triple safety straps in place which help me feel very secure: shoelaces (I had 2 options of either pink or rainbow shoelaces, and of course I chose rainbow), a safety ratchet buckle, and velcro strap. Each roller skate has a front brake, whereas the inline skates only have one back brake on the right skate. I also love the PU wheels with lights that don't require batteries. The colors aren't too distracting but look amazing especially in the dark, and the PU material is really comfortable to be on. I also love the vibrant pink, white, and silver combination! And what's more, I could stand upright on concrete on these roller skates! I'm skating as slow as a middle-aged turtle, but I'm happy just being able to skate at all without falling. I'm feeling all the memories of childhood again, thanks to these, and I just could not have gotten a pair of skates at a better price!
