I was nervous about skating, but these skates made the experience much easier. They are surprisingly comfortable and provide great fit and support, especially for beginners. The extra ankle support and sturdy construction helped me maintain my balance and avoid falls. I really love the color pattern of black and pink. Skates are beautiful, they move smoothly, and the padding inside provides comfort for your feet. Wheels get dirty easy and do not clean very well but that’s to be expected somewhat because they are pink. The main reason I removed one star is because the sizing is a little small. I usually wear size 9 shoes with no problem but size 9 in these skates are too tight around the toes. I recommend sizing up. ... show more

After buying terrible roller blades I decided to get some skates instead. I’m not necessarily a beginner, as I used to skate when I was younger, but I’m finding myself having to re-learn to skate. I wear a US women’s size 9 shoe, I ordered a size 9 and it’s a perfect fit! As others have said, the bearings were way too tight upon arrival, but they’re very easy to loosen/tighten (I used a 1/2in socket wrench). The wheels are smooth and the skates are stable and comfortable. Really the only gripe I have is that the brakes are made of plastic and not rubber. You’ll probably want to get some outdoor wheels for these if you plan to skate outside. The stock wheels are completely smooth plastic. They work just fine inside! I’d recommend these to beginners and seasoned skaters alike. Super cute and a great price too. So happy I purchased these! ... show more

I've had these for a few years now. I've waited to write a review as I am an avid skater in my off time. I keep these in my trunk at all times to throw on and skate wherever I can. Over the years the wheels haven't needed to be replaced despite going over some pretty large stones. The padding on the side is great for the ankles and makes me feel sturdy and secure. For the price they are totally worth it for beginners. I wear a 7/7.5 in normal sneakers and these were the perfect fit for me. ... show more
