The current shoe size my daughter wears is 13.5 but we got the size 13 and it fits perfectly without too much wiggle room. This is how sports shoe should fit but it also means, because it's for a growing child, that these shoes won't last over a year. For that reason, the price of these skates is excellent. It's something better than rental skates to get better at skating without breaking the bank. The wheels can be adjusted and it came rather tight.. we ended up having to loosen it with a wrench. The velcro strap on top of the boot can shred the shoe laces rather quickly. What I have found by experience is to secure the velcro strap first before tying the shoe laces. I was very relieved to discover that the skates will fit my child's size 2.5 W feet (depending on style, I also get XW in shoes as well) comfortably. Great skates, Reviews made me think twice but decided for beginner skates we would give them a try and glad I did my daughter is a size 3 we ordered a 4 and they are a 4 so she has growing room. Also they skate just fine no issues with the wheels. They are super cute ! My daughter loves them since she is just starting out letting her try them in the house before taking them outside. I bought these rollerskates for my daughter after she wanted to learn to skate. My daughter liked the color and had no complaints while wearing them. They did not seem to cause her feet any pain. They are not difficult to put on or off. The skates have held up well with use a 1-2 times a week for 30-60 minutes each time. They are very fairly priced and have lasted well. I only had to replace them due to her growing. I would recommend them to anyone who’s kid wants to rollerskate. Disclosure: this is a critical medics honest review. Sturdy and well made!! When tied and laced correctly they provide excellent ankle support. I bought three pair for my kids and they spend hours zooming around the house. (We have laminate floors and I have a screw loose. But, it keeps them from numbing their brains with tv all winter.)

And I mean that in a good way. My niece (age 7) has hardly taken these off since I got them for her a month ago. The fit very nicely with a little bit of room to grow. Having skates that she can practice on around the neighborhood has been a big confidence boost for her. And unlike the skating rink where she clings to the wall, she is skating independently now, with a little help from Dad. I think, quite frankly, she just loves to have skates she can call her very own. After a month, I'm not seeing any signs of wear and tear. The added velcro feature at the top of the boot is nice. ordered a 13 youth and a 2. i got 2 pair of 13 youth. 1 pair used and repacked and the other pair new. first time i ever received a used product from amazon. the used skates were in a size 2 box. other than this issue, the other skates ordered are comfortable and at a great price.
