These are good to get kids excited and moving on wheels, but they have awful bearings and plastic wheels (that don't look replaceable as the axle is actually a bolt that goes through the baseplate!) There aren't even trucks. Even an experienced adult would have difficulty skating with this setup. Better to spend a little more and get an actual skate (particularly with trucks & bushings). There is something VERY wrong with this item and the ratings. Up front it looks like 190+ 4+ ratings, but when you go to the ratings there is only one and it is a 2 stars. Something is very wrong somewhere!
