My kids all show cattle and work daily in their cowboy boots. My 7 year old wanted a pair of boots for our county fair to match his siblings. These were perfect! He wore them all week and still hasn’t taken them off. Affordable, true to size and very stylish. Easy to get on and off by himself. They held up in mud, dirt, rocks, walking several miles and daily riding the carnival rides. The brown and black ones are my favorite and his too. These aren’t made of real leather as stated so they will not hold up as well as authentic cowboy boots made of real leather would do. It’s a perfect beginner pair for young children! This photo is after a week of very hard play in all the elements. I will buy these again for my younger kids when it comes time for their first pair of cowboy boots.

Bought for my boy. He loves the boots, has been wearing everyday since they arrived. So far has lasted through mud and dirt. No rips or tears. Good value for the money. True to size. The color was exactly as shown.

tl;dr: they would be fine for costumes or dress up, but not so great for longevity or protection. My family just moved out into rural areas and as we've seen copperheads in the area, I wanted my kids' feet to be protected. These were half the price of boots from Bass Pro or other places, so I opted to give them a try. The kids never complained about them, so they seemed to be comfortable enough. They're not thick leather up the side, so I'm not really sure about protection up the side of the leg. It's definitely better than tennis shoes. After about 3 to 4 months, though, the soles started to come off of one of the boots. Others are flaking and falling apart. We ended up having to buy the more expensive boots in the long run.
