I love how Chonda bares her heart and soul and combines the harsh realities of life and the truth with her humor and wit. She confides in her audience as if each of us was her best friend. I can see her sitting in a room full of gals wearing pj's, eating popcorn, and sharing stories. Her gift of laughter truly is medicine for the soul. ... show more

On the up side, its a clean show, and the acting was decent. Just wish they had a better script. The funny parts just weren't funny.

We really enjoyed this film and will be rewatching it! A bit like Napolean Dynamite meets The Wedding Singer, lol. The comedy and the characters are thoroughly relatable, just enough heartwarming moments without being sappy, and there's a surprising twist at the end that I found to be entirely believable but also added more depth and meaning to the story than would have existed otherwise. It's a fun film to watch on girls night out, with family, or even by yourself. I also loved the music, and would love to have had more of that. ... show more

I am not a stand-up comedy fan, but I thought I’d give it a shot. So many of my friends absolutely love this so I tried nothing personal but again I simply am not a big fan of stand-up comedy if you are and based on my friends opinions, you will love it, they all do
