The media could not be loaded. This is a cute little set. Pairs great with the original size, just about half the size. You can build this in about an hour. It's very easy to do. Great for beginners.

I know it takes me about an hour to do the regular super creator sets, and this one is tagged as taking 30 minutes. It took me a but longer, but it might have been because it was the bookstore and there's all kinds of tiny details. The instructions are really good. These come with their own dust cover (they're self contained) and do not include electronics. I really enjoyed working on this and it is super cute!

I've recently completed a couple of complex miniature builds. So it was nice to be able to work on a project that was simple, quick and easy to accomplish. There's some paper craft involved, which is my least favorite aspect of building miniature scenes. But they weren't quite so bad this time. The items to make out of thick paper are perforated. No Xacto needed! The paper also has indentions for easier folding of it. I did find that I needed a little bit of glue to help the boxes and shopping bags hold their shape. Speaking of glue, this kit comes with glue dots. I tend to not use them as they don't stick very well for me. I live in a more humid region of the country and I think that keeps the glue dots from working. You also receive a pair of tweezers to help with your kit. However, they're plastic and too bulky for me. So I use the more streamlined metal tweezers that I have gotten in other kits instead. It took me less than 2 hours over 3 days to complete. A nice change of pace. The completed project is very cute and vibrant looking. I just didn't think that the supplies given to you to assist with the tasks were of a very good quality. But if you hold onto the materials you receive in other kits, like most in this hobby do, you'll have everything you need to make your own honey Tea lounge.

I have to say this is the first time I've been disappointed with a RoLife kit. I want to be fair and say right from the start that I am a very experienced miniatures enthusiast. So for me, this is just a snap together kit, I wouldn't consider it a true miniatures build experience. Level of difficulty? I finished this kit in 1 1/2 hours while watching TV and not particularly paying attention to the kit. And that includes time for a glue repair on a broken part. So this was just something to do with my hands. If I had just sat down to do the kit .... 1/2 hour...maybe 45 minutes on a sluggish day. The bags for the parts are clearly numbered so it's easy to find what you need for each step. The instructions are pictures and some English prompts. They give you plenty of sticky strips to attach things so you don't need any glue unless something is broken. Pay attention to anything marked with pressure point instructions. They are telling you that if you don't press the pieces together at the intended stress point the piece is likely to break. I didn't have any of that kind of problem, but again...I build a lot of miniatures. The attachment prongs for the wheels of the shopping cart were a bit of an issue in my kit. One wheel attachment came with a prong missing. I could have reached out to RoLife and they would in all likelihood, based on past experienced, replaced the part for me, but I just glued the wheel in place. The result is that one wheel does not pivot like the others...just like in a real grocery store with a broken cart. So that's fine by me. I think that a 12 year old could put this together with maybe a little help with the smallest pieces and stickers. And it would be fun for child that age. These mini super creators each have their own case that is a part of the structure of the scene. They can be stacked and displayed together and don't take up much space, but unlike the regular size super creator kits these do not combine to make a cohesive display, and there is no lighting. It would be fine for someone who has limited space. The finished piece is cute. I feel that it is priced high for what you get, the build experience, and the lack of lighting of any kind. For a younger double digit pre-teen with help from an adult, or an early "tweenager" as an introduction kit it's cute and might offer a few hours of enjoyment while building with a little help. These are suggested for an 8 year old. I think to play with or have as a display, but not to build. The small size of the pieces does require some manual dexterity an 8 year old is unlikely to have. But for the older preteen kids these might be fun.

This is a very cute, very beginner friendly model kit! There isn't anything overly complicated about the build. I finished in less than 2 hours while multitasking a little. There's a little bit of paper craft, which is always the most stressful part of model building for me, but the pieces were clearly indented on the fold lines. It was not nearly as bad as some other paper craft builds that I've done. All of the furniture assembled quickly. There are some really, really small pieces so I'd suggest having a tiny tray or similar to corral them while you're working. All bags are clearly marked and instructions really well laid out. The kit has glue dots for adhesion and, honestly, the worst part of the build was getting them off the sheet and on to the correct surfaces. They're stubborn little things. The final build is super cute and because it's in a case it can be stacked on other Rolife builds. There are no electronics in this build so no wires to worry about. If you're thinking about trying the hobby for the first time this is a good pick that won't frustrate you.

This Super Creator fruit shop mini kit from Rolife is a fun, relatively easy build that makes for a wonderful afternoon project. I like that the kit comes with a full enclosure, which is nice in a dusty area like I live in. This kit has the little details you expect from Rolife, but is easy enough to do that it has appeal as a rainy afternoon project or something to do with the kids. Many of the parts are plastic as well, which are sturdier and will hold up better to play for the young ones. Another worthwhile and inexpensive winner from Rolife!
