I have built three miniature kits and this is by far the easiest of the three that I have made. Most pieces are made of pretty durable wood and the glue holds well. There are a lot of paper pieces to put together, though I suppose you don't have to make everything if you don't mind the shelves being a little more spaced out. The only thing that is a little wonky is the instructions, but once you understand how they do it, it becomes easy to build. ... show more

I'm not very good at miniatures, but this kit made it fun and just slightly challenging! The quality of this kit is far better than any other brand I've purchased/tried-to-build. The paper cut-outs are perforated to easily remove and even have minor creasing where you'd fold to make a box/shape. Having pre-made toy food makes it easier for me since I am awful with clay and molds. No painting. The only difficult part was the wiring for the lights - too tiny for these hands! ... show more

I was missing batteries and was confused by the light instructions so I skipped that part. Also ran out of glue so had to buy more, which wasn’t a big deal.
