Move over legos.. these things are seriously fun. I was skeptical on how the quality would be and how it would look when complete. Its fantastic! It really takes hours and hours to build.. and its really fun to put each part together. I really wish they had more "books" as scenes! Why not? Anyway... ADVICE: take your time!! follow the instructions exactly.. they can be confusing, but once you get going, it becomes easier to understand.Make sure you get each part well seated and snug into place or it can be hard to line up later. My ONLY complaint (my own fault) is that its not battery powered, its plug in... so I had to drill a hole to feed the usb c cord down the back of the bookcase.

Absolutely loved this 3D wooden puzzle! Turned out beautifully and I love the movie. The only issues I found were 1- I couldn't for some reason get Alice to click into her dress properly. The upper half is wooden and the dress are 2 pieces of plastic which is no issue, but i couldnt get the wooden peg to insert into the plastic pieces without risking breaking the wooden peg. & 2- The outside wooden walls that make up the structure (put on last) also couldn't click in properly. I looked inside to make sure nothing was in the way or pushing on the walls and there was no hindrance. I will just simply glue it. Other than that, it was satisfying to work on and the instructions were straight forward. This was only my third puzzle ever done, and i finished it in 3 hours. There are lights and wires to place into certain positions so you will need AAA batteries. Highly recommend!!

Would leave more stars for this if I could!! If you are the type who enjoyed building models, Lego, or even rector sets long ago, this is the product for you. My biggest fear was that the wood would be cheap and snap while putting small pieces together. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. The amount of quality and detail that went into this build surprised me the more I progressed. Also, I am the type of person who likes a challenge in these kind of builds. While the build itself wasnt challenging, it did take longer to put together than a several thousand piece Lego set. So pour yourself a cup of tea, put on a good movie, and have a great time building this set!

Absolutely love this product. Assembly takes patience (btw... suggest looking for You Tube content creator videos to help) but admittedly this is only my second one so I'm still learning as I go. I would rate this as an intermediate skill level but absolutely doable if you're new to book nook kits. Quality is good. Lazer cuts are precise. The detail is delightful on the individual pieces. Purchase a mini hammer before you start, it helps achieve fully connecting joints. Learned that with the first one I did. Definitely worth the price.

Their directions are literally step by step, their quality is great! Highly recommend this kit. I am starting Beauty & The Beast next.

I don’t have any pictures since I got this as a gift for my friend, but this is a perfect gift for all your crafty, artsy friends! I was able to get it during a flash sale for $40, which I thought was a little pricey, but out of many book nooks I’ve seen, this has a cohesive and beautiful design.
