I chose this item to depict Colonial days, specifically 1776. I got lots of compliments. It fit well. I’ll be back to find other costumes I’m sure. The dress and apron are a lightweight cotton. They gave the sleeves and dress extra length. I’m 5’6” and it reached my ankles. I put elastic at the wrists. I chose a more drab color considering the era. This is a nice dress up outfit. The dress and bonnet fits great. But the apron was not a large size to match the dress, so I take away a star. It was to small. The dress is made of a nice fabric, you cannot see through. And was comfortable to wear. It washes out nicely and is reusable.
