Decided to try these boots because I work outside a lot during the winter. I needed something warmer than what I had. After reading all the reviews, I decided to order a size larger than what I normally wear. Even wearing heavy socks, they were way too big! Had to return them for my normal size and with heavy socks they fit great and are very comfortable! Feet stayed warm even when temps dipped to -20 degrees! The return was flawless and my normal size was received within a couple of days!

I waited until I walked at least 10 miles before reviewing these boots. At first they felt a little stiff and bulky, almost like ski boots. The loosen up pretty quickly. They are heavier than average boots but that's the price you pay for extra insulation. And yes, they do help keep your feet warm. I stepped in ankle-high water and my feet stayed completely dry. I carry about 50 pounds of equipment about 2 miles into the woods to hunt and they were extremely comfortable.

These Rocky MensBlizzard Stalker Pro Hunting boots are excellent for me. They are aesthetically appealing for a winter boot. I have a difficult time finding the right shoes/boots that are comfortable so I was relieved when I put them on and found them to be comfortable for me. After a few months of wear and tear in chilly environments on different types of terrain they have held up and maintained their comfort. I have found the Stalker Pro to keep my feet warm in some pretty cool temperatures i.e up to -10F. Keep in mind, in milder temperatures, lets say +30F and above, these boots WILL be very warm and may cause your feet to sweat. With Proper "wicking" socks and you should be alright. The waterproofing is still holding up as are the shoe laces. As a new purchase, these are a stiff and "clunky" (large) boot but over time, they will soften up. The clunky-ness....well....that pretty much doesn't change but you get used to it. To date, these have been great boots for cold temperatures while working outside and of course, walking in the woods. A final note.....when standing/sitting still for a while quite commonly expedites the chilling, freezing, coldness to one's feet. These boots have kept mine warm.

Rocky boots have never disappointed me. Great product! Kept my feet warm and dry during a heavy snowstorm. Well worth the money to have dry and warm feet. Snow was 2 feet deep and never intruded into the boots. The fit was a little large but I was only wearing one pair of thin socks. Need to wear thicker socks with sock liners.

Loved it , til about my 10th uses in a month, noticed my foot was wet while ice fishing, looked down and the rubber had pulled away from the upper material . Caused a open hole where the stitching pulled away , snowmelt drained into it and now it's useless. Other than that , warm, great traction , very comfortable. Wish amazon would just send me a new pair and I can send these back.

The boots fit well and seemed warm, until I ventured outside at -20. Within an hour my toes got cold, very cold. A little over an hour I lost feelings in my toes. It took nearly two hours to warm my toes to normal. That was my first time venturing outside with them. My fourth time I hoped for better, it was 20 degrees, after two and a half hours my toes got so cold I had to return home before I lost feeing in them. Every time I used them outside I would use wool socks. To top it off, the eyelets broke, I wrapped the bootlaces around the boot to secure them to my foot. I bought these as a replacement for my 8 year old bunny boots, now it’s time to dust off the boots for cold weather. I wouldn’t recommend the boots for use below freezing (32 degrees)

Nicely built. Rugged looking. Waterproof. Warm. Nicely cushioned over top of foot. Like lacing system but a little difficult to get secure. Weakness is the sole and insole. Bought these to replace Bugaboos that are cold and have a thin sole that you can feel every rock thru. First walk with these was paved and they felt great. Next walk was on old logging trail. Several problems became apparent: 1) sole lacks warmth of upper, despite reflective insole, 2) insole is thin and provides no cushioning, 3) the "rim" of the sole inside the boot is raised which puts pressure on the sides of the feet and forced the length of the middle of your foot into a trough. Uncomfortable and created hotspots on sides of foot, 4) despite the aggressive vibram-like outside, the sole is quite soft. At first I thought it was a cushioned sole but it isn't. You can feel every rock and obstacle. It must be for traction in snow and ice. The result is that this IS NOT a boot for comfortable general hiking. Love everything about the boot except the sole.
