We have ours setup in front of our drum riser and have tried it both with and without DMX. You get a lot of bang for your buck as this thing is solid and well made. Before I was ready to buy this light bar I look in to the reviews , some good some bad , but I still decided to give it a chance and yes the material is great is made of metal pretty heavy and good quality buy I notice the light beam looks more like a up light after 8 to 10 ft . All color come together to make one solid color. I was hopping to see more like a beam light and not like a up light RBG bar . Well I think I’ll have to go for a berm lights even only one cost the same as this bar . ... show more

I’ve purchased another one. I liked it so much from audio savings, and it did not work correctly. It took 10 days to get to me even through prime. I returned it, purchased another one from audiosavings and this one wouldn’t even turn on now they made me send it straight back to them which now they’ve had for over a week and finally have determined to give me a refund within another five days which at this point, I’ve already encountered interest on my credit card from it. I have one good working one, so I guess I’ll just stick to that because it’s been a nightmare! I like Rockville products and have a ton of that stuff, but don’t buy seconds hand dealer. ... show more
