it does have some heft to it the base plate is solid steel and with all uprights and tv mount that bag has a little weight as well not crazy awkward. 1. Does not come with instruction book but a QR link to watch the mfg. you tube instruction video it wants you to use the Philips head machine screw when attaching to the base on my unit it make it to long and they poke out the bottom of plate I used the bolts with a washer and it came out flush 2. If you are buying this for quick assembly and disassembly. its not hours and I imaging you can get quick at doing it but you will have time invested so plan ahead for event set up I will probable keep mine assembled so I don't have to spend the time since I'm using the TV mount . If your using to hold a speaker or moving head then it is 8 bolts / knobs wouldn't be to bad 3. Use a ratchet and 13mm socket it will speed it up 4. There are 2 sets of holes on the base plate they do not talk about from previous experience with other company's trusses I am going to move mine from the center position to the rear position. I am using this stand to hold a 65" tv and it will put the center of gravity better in the center on the plate and reduce the chances of the tv of tipping. If the truss is in the center position with a heavy tv hanging on it it would have a higher chance of tipping over and hurting someone or damaging the tv **UPDATE** depending on tv mounting options it may not sit center on truss due to mounts on back of TV and alignment of bracket on truss Hope this helps someone -Matthew ... show more

So used these for the first time this Saturday for my gig. I put moving head lights on it and I noticed that both stand were shaking a little too much almost knocked down one of my lights. Is anyone had the same issue ??

The cats are not wildly chasing it around the house but they do find it interesting and follow it to see what it is up to. The only drawback is that the wheel base could be a little larger do it more easily bumps up against couches rather than running underneath and getting stuck.
