Wow! Got these glow in the dark drum sticks in blue for a friend’s birthday. Super cool! I got to see him drumming with them the night of his birthday—what a show! He has a powerful hit. Both sticks lit up and they didn’t fall apart or anything. I thought they were a really unique gift!

They are fun. I use them Sometimes at Church. I've learned that Drum sticks rotate when I play. How I learned this is that there is a screw that keeps the end of the stick from unscrewing that sticks out just a little bit. And this screw rubs on my hand every once in awhile as a stick rotates as I play. The little screw irritates my hand just a little bit. But it's okay the sticks are really cool! ... show more

Purchased before and he loves them however, 3 stars because after just shy of 2 years of very moderate use he replaced batteries and ONE of the sticks did not function. BTW, expect to replace batteries often. Cost him around $5.00 per battery and each stick requires 3 batteries! Of course this malfunction occurred 1 day before a gig so he couldn't use them. These sticks are fantastic, look cool and they feel and handle great according to my drummer with 40+ yrs drumming experience. That said, I purchased again with the understanding I will need to do so every 18 months or so! ... show more
