I really wanted to love these boots. I'm a 9.5 and they fit true to size. They are made from very nice, quality leather and are very stylish. I love everthing about these boots until I put them on. They were very comfortable but the top of the boot really cuts into the front of my left ankle. The right boot is fine, no problems. So I thought maybe they just need broke in a bit. I wore them around the house for about 10 minutes and the left boot continued to do its nasty little digging into my leg. Sadly, they are boxed up and ready to go back. ... show more

These ankle boots are amazing! They are so attractive and easy to put on. The zipper is perfect, and the fit is wonderful. I am so very happy with this purchase. Walking in them is a breeze. Each step is gripped and no fear of slipping. I ordered the smokey grey and it is stunning, exactly like the picture.     • An Odd Fit For My Foot ~ Appears to Scuff Easily
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Black Leather
This is a beautifully styled boot. Very attractive. The leather is quite soft. There are zippers on both sides: inside and outside of the boot. Only the inside zipper is functional (Why do both?) I removed the tissue "stuffing" - Left foot went in easily. The Right foot was downright painful and my foot began to cramp (I didn't even get it inside all the way). Upon further investigation, there was a black-tissue wrapped "form" tightly fitted into the top side of the boot to the toe. Surprise! (There wasn't this on the left boot which would conclude that this pair was a return) No problem, after I extracted the tissue and the form, my foot slid in like the left boot. I ordered a WIDE because later in the day, my feet swell and I must wear socks. I tested these late afternoon on a hot afternoon and even with my thick Thorlo socks, the WIDE still had space (another surprise). Which means that I would need the B/Medium width. However, I will return these because even though the leather is soft, the fit in front of my ankle was not comfortable and I feel, even with a B/Medium width, I would "feel" this even more. I will add, that at this high price, there were already marks on the leather and clearly -- this is a "sensitive" leather that will show wear too soon for me.     • A great boot for hard to fit folks!
Size: 7 Wide Color: Black Leather
This boot is very comfortable for me. And I can put them on easily. That’s a tall order as I have a wide foot with a high instep and I need arch support. The waterproof soles are great too for rain, snow and mud. Love them so much I just ordered another pair in a different color.

Love these boots. While they do not have a soft comfy sole, an insert could be added. They look fantastic and are plenty roomy. No squishing the toes. The inside zipper allow you to remove and put on the boots with ease.

At first, I didn't think that these were going to work for me because the front rim felt a bit stiff and cutting at the ankle front. But that eased up with just wearing them around the house for a day. They had a little more cushion and support than the Lucky Brand I'd returned, but not much. Still, they were very comfortable to wear with a light to mid-weight sock for a day of sight-seeing. The heel is a good height -- and the outer heel and sole are comfortably giving while walking. I also liked that the toe wasn't too rounded, as it was on some similar styles. I usually wear an 8 in closed shoes, and these were true to size. ... show more
