These shoes look and feel a lot like a pair of New Balance, which I like. There is just a touch of arch support, but they are mostly flat inside like NB shoes. I got mine in Wide and they fit exactly right. My foot doesn't slide around inside at all. The laces are a bit shorter than they ought to be, almost like they used regular length laces on the Wide shoes, but they are still able to be tied and hold the knot all day. Overall, I am very satisfied. They are comfortable, look good with jeans, and appear to be well made. ... show more

I wanted a pair of dark brown casual shoes. The color in the product description said Color: Java Suede/Vicuna/Red/Black. The picture of the shoes looked like the shoes were black. Thankfully, they were dark brown. They seemed a bit wide in the toe box. However, after thightened the laces the fit was perfect. The suade leather seems to be high quality. I 'll update this review, after seeing if the outsole is slippery in rainy conditions. I will spray some water proofing. ... show more

In the description on Amazon it says 100% leather uppers. Not so. There is a good bit of nylon webbing sewn into the uppers. I ordered size 11 and they fit very well, but perhaps just a bit wide. They are attractive and very comfortable to walk in. However, the rubber souls are very slick and do not grip well if on concrete or asphalt that is wet... hense my title "Fair Weather" walking shoes. In fact, the first day I wore them, it had rained a little bit. While walking my dog at the Bark Park, I slipped and fell due to the slippery souls on these shoes. If you regularly walk in inclement weather, these shoes are not for you. Fortunately for me, rain is a rare event here in the Desert Southwest where I live. Because of the slippery souls I gave 3 stars instead of a 4 or 5 which these shoes could get if the souls had better grip on wet surfaces. ... show more
