  • Still the Best After 5 Years!
Size: 13 Wide Color: Tan
I can wholeheartedly say I absolutely love these boots! I just received my second pair after wearing my first ones as daily drivers for about five years. They held up incredibly well! Only recently did they start coming apart enough for me to finally order a new pair. These boots have been through it all: long work days, miles of city walking, and even deep puddles in torrential rain, and my feet have always stayed completely dry. The waterproofing is outstanding! They’re also stylish enough to wear anywhere, and I’ve gotten countless compliments on them over the years. The fit is excellent, they’re super comfortable, and I can’t wait to break in this new pair. If you’re on the fence, trust me…these boots are worth it! ... show more

  • Great boot
Size: 12 Wide Color: Black
This is a great shoe! The style is casual. The weight is not even noticable to me. The color I got was a matte black that is exactly what I expected. The size runs a little big. I had a 12 wide the first time I got these, when I was ready for a second pair (my first ones turned into work boots) I went for a 11.5 wide. The fit is perfect (a little tight with wool socks). If you like this style you will definitely love these. ... show more

  • Great Boots - But Their Shipping Leaves A Lot To Be Desired
Size: 10 Color: Black
I love these boots. I knew I would, as I already had them in brown and wanted a black pair. My issue is the way they mailed them. They showed up in one of those thin plastic like envelope things and the box was absolutely destroyed. Besides that, these have most likely been sent out to someone else before me. That's fine, if you try on shoes in a store, chances are someone else has tried them on. But they showed up dirty. The bottom of the boots has stuff all over them and the tops of the boots had some scuffs. Overall, I would recommend these....they are comfortable, will withstand water, look good, etc. But come on Rockport, at least make sure they are clean before you mail them out and think about giving the box a little more protection, as I know you would have blamed me if I had sent them back. ... show more

  • Buy this boot
Size: 12 Color: Tan
Rockport quality shows up again. Out of the box comfortable boot. Size fits exactly as expected. Expecting years of wear out of these boots. Haven’t actually checked waterproof but have no doubt they will be dry. Would buy again but don’t expect to need to for years. Worth the money.

  • A great boot until it wasnt
Size: 10 Color: Tan
UPDATE 2: So they got back to me after a couple more emails and shipped me a new pair of boots at the end of Nov '22. It is August 2023 and the same issue has happened. They split at the sole in the same spot as the boots i bought before back in early 2022. I put these boots through normal everyday usage at work (9-5) on a concrete floor. I didn't hike or take them on harsh terrain. Besides the splitting soles, these boots handle my usage just fine- as you can likely tell from the photos. I inquired and sent them current photos of the new boots and an automated massage said the exchange program is no longer active. I wont be purchasing Rockport again if the manufacturer's standards/QC allows footwear that lasts maybe 9 months before degrading and if they will not exchange products for their sub par manufacturing then I'm done with them altogether. Go with Caterpillar or Columbia. UPDATE: it's the end of Oct '22 now and I have yet to receive a reply after they asked for photos regarding my "claim" in Sept. I really liked these boots and they might lose me altogether now if this is their quality standard and customer service standard. Got these boots back in April 2022 and used them as work boots. On my feet most of the time and I do my fair share of moving around and such. I wouldnt consider my job to be a shoe killing type of occupation. These boots had a bit of a break in period but once they were, they were fairly comfortable for me. Now in Sept 2022, I put them on this morning felt the ball of my foot touch the concrete while walking to the truck. There's a rip to the inside sole that goes the width of the right shoe. The left has a smaller crack on the same area. 5 months is all I can get out of this boot? Really? Rockport is a huge well known brand so I contacted them about this issue and I'm awaiting a reply. ... show more

  • these boots are wonderful. Some points to note
Size: 10 Color: Tan
For the most part, these boots are wonderful. Some points to note: Scuffing: As with most leather goods, they will scuff if you knock them against something (which I constantly do, working as a barista in a busy coffee shop). It's to be expected, and while the upper leather bit of the shoe is absolutely sturdy, it has a soft texture. Any scuffs that happen are easily buffed out. If you work in a job or have a lifestyle that is rough and tumble on footwear and you're going to get miffed about scuffs, I would suggest changing jobs or lifestyles because stuff happens. Soles: I ordered these shoes back in February, and sadly I've already worn a hole in the sole of my right boot. This is, most likely, a result of faulty material paired with intensity of wear. I've read a number of reviews on these as well as the Storm Riders and Rugged Bucks (I'm 95% sure these are all the same boot, rebranded), and it seems to be a common problem with this style of boot. I'm guilty of wearing them to work and out and about, so suffice to say I've worn the ever-loving hell out of these bad boys. That said, this is the first boot in a while I've worn through the toe of, and I've had these for about four months less than most of my other boots. Leather Construction: Despite the failure of the soles to stand up to heavy-duty wear as expected, the upper part of the boot is wonderful. The leather has retained its shape, and has shown to be waterproof as promised. All in all, I absolutely love these boots. While I'm a little bummed that they didn't last as long as I would have hoped, they are gorgeous, have good support, and look amazing. If you have a job that keeps you on your feet, I would recommend ONLY using them for work, or ONLY using them for casual use. Combining work and lifestyle seems to be more intense than these boots can take, sadly. ... show more
