I wore Rockports back in the early 90's but, for some reason they dropped off my radar. I just re-discovered them as I needed an everyday walking shoe and this fits the bill perfectly. They are very, very comfortable with good support. The only nit I will pick is that they should have made the tongue longer. It works without a problem but I just like a bit more of the tongue to poke out of the shoe and not just barely cover the territory. I got the same size and color before, and it fit a bit snugger. This one flops a bit more. I can still tighten it to wear, but not as comfy due to being slightly wider all over and a bit longer too. That said, if you have aching feet from standing all day at work, are a pedestrian and need to walk a lot to get around, or plan to travel somewhere that you will be walking as a tourist, you should get them. I have 12 inch feet and I ordered my Rockports in size 12. While they fit and I have no difficulty walking in them, there is no room to spare in my left shoe. Oddly, the right shoe fits just right.
