Very comfortable shoes, make sure to buy a 1/2 size small since they stretch with time. The one negative is the insole liner looks to be engineered leather not solid. Over time the liner falls apart, as in 6-9 months.

I'm a little "meh" about the style, but they aren't terrible. These are well made, decent quality leather uppers. They have decent soles and comfortable insides. I have a pair in black and one in tan. I only get these when they are heavily discounted. I think I got them between $40-$50 (closer to $40 I believe). I wouldn't pay $100 for them. To me, quality wise, they are as good as anything Cole Haan is putting out (which isn't saying much any more). Cole Haan does have some styles I like better. But, I am done overpaying for their stuff. ... show more

Overpriced, not even close to the color in the description, and very light weight leather. The day after I ordered them the price dropped $25. Had I paid that price they would have gotten 4 stars. They are attractive (after shoe polish) comfortable and appear to be well made. But no better than the Go Tour Venetian suede shoes I paid $40 for. Rockports made in India. Go Tour China. My Cole Haan and Polo driving shoes are made in Brazil. Higher priced, but better quality leather (somewhat). You don’t always get what you pay for now, it’s a crapshoot.     • Real Leather! Comfy Fit
After checking out the lower priced loafers/mocs at my local department store - I was not satisfied with any of the options - they were all made of plastic! When I saw these, I immediately ordered a pair - not only are they a genuine leather upper, but Amazon even applied a coupon that lowered the price further. The leather on these are buttery and supple, allowing you to wear them with or without socks. The footbed has a decent foam liner that provides comfort for light walking, and I look forward to the leather gently molding to my feet over time. I was looking for classic, slip on loafers. Rockport is a reliabel name for a reason. These are awesome! I wear a 9 and they were a perfect fit. Soft leather. I didn't need to break them in. You could walk in these for hours. Lighter colored leather needs more TLC because of the nature of how it wears and looses its color but oh well. And for the price, you can't go wrong. ... show more
