The fit and comfort of a shoe is personal and varies from one person to another. Likewise one's perception of cost. This Rockport Men’s Dressports 2 Go was purchased to replace another version of the 2 Go. This one was a little more sporty than the current pair. The thicker shoe laces gave this shoe a nice casual look while the color and styling of shoe made it seem dressy. It is a good middle ground of casual sporty. The look I wanted was slightly more business casual with no sporty. I purchased 2 Rockports and another pair. I kept the other Rockports and the other shoe. This one as nice as it is with the flexibility of Rockports just didn’t fit the look need for the upcoming event. I've loved Rockports for years, I was looking for a dress shoe that had a bit of a casual flair for Summer. Found these at a good price and am very happy with them. I have wide flat feet and these are very comfortable for me all day long

This is the third pair of these shoes I've purchased in the past few years. They are great for work and casual nights out. The only issue I have is that I ordered 12W once again and received the box a couple months ago. Put them up on the shelf in reserve to pull out when my current pair started to get worn. When I pulled them out of the box and put them on they were pretty loose. THEY WERE SIZE 14W! Wrong shoes in the box. Beware, kids... Make sure to check the box when you receive them so you don't end up doing what I did. Still love the shoes. Just wish I had them in the right size. ... show more

I wanted to like these shoes. I really did. Unfortunately, they lasted only 3 months before a tear developed in the seam, which quickly widened and made me have to throw the shoes away. I've noticed that other buyers have the same issue at the same part of the shoe, which makes me think the defect lies with the manufacturer and not the wearer. The manufacturer, however, doesn't have a warranty for these Rockport shoes, only "Rockport Works". Tough luck, I guess. I've owned other pairs of Rockport shoes (I really like their men's loafers), but I'm going to think twice before buying again from this brand. If you want nice-looking and comfortable work shoes that you have to replace four times a year, then these are for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. ... show more
