These are good, not great. Fine quality for this price point, but they will not last long so I would not say they are a good value. If you need a shoe of this style to wear around 20 times or so then they should suit your needs just fine. The price to restore them would be more than they are worth. Fit is true to size, and the shoes are very comfortable. Minor dislikes are that the color is somewhat darker than in the photo, and that the shoes are narrower at the front than pictured, giving a slightly 'pointy' appearance.
