Made with a latex footbed that helps cushion your foot and reduces foot fatigue; this shoe also features a mesh lining that wicks away moisture and provides breathability. They also come with the newest TruFLEX technology that provides shock absorbing heel cushioning and it sits on top of a rubber EVA outsole that enables you to have a durable grip on just about any surface. Over the years, my previous shoes I’ve always been OK or good enough for now or I’ll keep them But I wish they fit better or I’ll wear these till I find something better. This shoe is the best ever I wish I had found them years ago. I highly recommend this product. I could not find these in black anywhere but did find them in brown at shoe station. I work Ems and wear these for 13 hr shifts and they are awesome and waterproof and I don’t have to worry about slipping they have a great grip and a reinforced toe !!

I have worn Rockport shoes, nearly exclusively, for most of my adult life. From my first ProWalkers in the 70's, I have owned many pairs of Rockports. Regardless the style, dress, casual, athletic...they always fit perfectly, and they last very well. My objection with these (and the brown pair I purchased) is the laces. They are nearly the exact same type that came in my granddaughters little hiking boots. They don't stay tied, and come loose several times a day. I will fix it with Hickies, but come on guys, put some better laces into otherwise excellent shoes. ... show more

This is a substantial shoe that has held up better than any cheap, everyday shoe I've previously purchased. It has been nearly a year since I obtained them, and the soles still haven't worn out, nor are the insides in tatters--and the insteps and insoles are also still comfortable.
