  • Fun build.
It’s great to get you started. I think you will find that a few modifications will be done as you go. This was my first attempt at this. This one will be a guide for others to come. Advice some of the templates were not there. I think the reason is because it’s easy to figure out. The hardest thing I found was finding the right height I wanted for the front legs. ... show more

  • Good plans for these chairs
The plans were good. My husband wanted the plans and templates to build the Adirondack chairs. The only thing was he traced and cut out the templates ( that were pretty flimsy) on to masonite so they would hold up better since he is building four chairs. One chair done at this time. Turned out great. I will try to add a picture at some point. ... show more

  • Easy to follow instructions
Template works great. Instructions were easy to follow. I used cedar because I was planning on a natural finish, but ended up going blue. Douglas fir would have been a lot cheaper. I used dowels vs. screws. I had long term issues with water and screws with the last Adirondack chairs I had.

  • Love the templates
As much as I like your full size templates , I don't understand why you put some to smaller scale. It not only takes you longer to down size it then draw it out but us garage carpenters have a hard time transferring it to wood. As you can see in my pictures I used different types for the armrests braces. ... show more

  • Misleading wording
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A CHAIR. This is a PATTERN/TEMPLATE for cutting your own wood to MAKE chairs. The wording is misleading.

  • Templates are flimsy 1/16" thick
I haven't been super impressed with the quality of the templates. They are only 1/16 thick. I'm using a router with a flush trim bit and it's not enough for the baring to ride on. It may be easier using a band saw but if you use a router for these, you'll run into issues and have to be creative. Or just buy two and double them up on your router table. The final product is still nice, but the templates are not great. ... show more
