I broke my ankle and I’m a dancer. I wanted to find a supportive high top to wear when I start walking without the walking boot, that could also double as an occasional dance shoe; not heavy weighted. I don’t like laced shoes because I tend to pull my shoes off without untying. I also have wide feet and buying shoes is difficult. I ordered these in 8.5 (my usual size is 8w) so I ordered these a half size larger, but also followed the size chart. I ordered 2 others brands at the same time, but they were both too small and had to be returned. These fit perfectly! They are cute, easy to put on and get off. I have only worn them around the house, because I’m still in a walking boot for outside, but they are very comfortable, supportive and not so heavy that I feel like I’m stomping around. I’ll provide an update after I’m truly walking again. Part 2. I went to a party last night and exchanged the walking boot for these. I was able to get around easily and they were comfortable and supportive of my bad ankle. I’ve seen comments about the slick sole and the main reason I bought these is they came up as high top dance sneakers, so being able to turn on the dance floor is important to me. I was able to dance a bit last night, so I’m really happy with these!

comfortable Lots of space in the toes The foam bottoms will not hold up long for everyday standing Need foam insert Lightweight zipper gets hung up on the tongue This was another purchase for my mother. I got these for her, because like me, we are so picky about fit, feel, and look of shoes but she needed a new pair for work. My mom's biggest issue with shoes are they never fit right in the toes but this shoe is different. She said there was plenty of room in the toes and they were a much better pair than her last shoe. She said that the pair were light weight and not super bulky, however her two issues (which aren't big issues to her) are that the zipper gets stuck on the tongue and she predicts after a while, she will just have to slip them on manually; and two, that the foam is not made for her 6 to 8 hour shifts of standing and walking. Her solution to the latter is getting a foam insert of some kind. All in all, this pair will be bought again. I have noticed she doesn't have as much pain in her feet since moving to these shoes and she is genuinely happy with it~

I love these shoes, I love the look, the wider fit, they aren't too hot, have the perfect completely flat insole, the life saving zipper, comfortable the second I put them on, but the only thing keeping me from falling on my face in places with a shiny floor is the narrow vulcanized rubber logo on the sole, which doesn't have very much surface area. I had to gorilla glue grips on mine. 8 month update: I thought the shoes didn't need breaking in, and they didn't to walk comfortably, but after a few months the canvas (blessedly) molded to the top of my foot/ankle. The tops used to be completely flat with a 90 degree angle at the high top part, but the added height and slope after breaking it in makes the shoes look waaay more proportionate and flattering, much more like the pictures. I never worry about my what pants I have to wear anymore (so my feet don't make me look like I drive a clown car if you stare at em too hard). I will say the grips I added didn't last long to keep me from slipping on polished floors, so I'm still figuring that out. Original: Other than that, the only thing that isn't absolutely perfect is the height of the fabric on the shoe. The rubber sides on the toe can give the illusion of a smaller foot but the short high top to shoe ratio can make your feet look huge, so the kind of pants you wear matter if you care about making the right aesthetic.

These are really cute! I have very high arches, so I had to add my Orthoheel athletic shoe inserts, but they fit perfectly over the non-removable ones in these shoes. They have a wide toe box, which makes them look slightly clown-shoe like, but comfort trumps looks in those case, and I think they will look less so as they break in. I love the side zipper! I laced them comfortably, and now I can take out them on and take them off without having to re-lace every time. The top of the shoe and tongue are slightly padded, so they don’t rub anywhere. The heels fit snugly, so they don’t slip and my socks stay up. I just received them, so I can’t speak to durability, but they seem to be well made. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes, they didnt need much breaking in. The style is a high-top sneaker wirh zippers that actually work. This shoes fit so well that they became my everyday sneaker. I bought these back in January as a lightweight barefoot shoe as normal shoes have given be some foot problems like corns. I wear an 8.5 ladies US sizing. I walk and clean after dogs as a part of my job and these shoes helped me stand longer hours [with heel cushion inserts ofc]. However with my joy with these sneakers, today [march 26, 2026], while walking at work, I felt something pop on them. The canvas had ripped from the rubber. I was so sad. Overall: good fitting sneaker, its not non-slip resistant on puddles and wet surfaces and the color does fade and is affected by bleach. These didnt last be as long as I would like though. Still love the shoes, but now the pair i own for barely 4 months is dead. :[

I have hypermobility & suffer from subluxation, especially in my ankles. I started with Vans because they were the only shoes I could find that I could fit my ankle braces in. Unfortunately, they are pricey, wear out after 6 months, & a royal pain to put on (especially with mobility issues). I added elastic shoe laces & replaced the zipper pulls with small key ring loops. I can't express how much easier they are to put on & how comfortable they are to wear. Cons: the toe box is wider that I was used to & pretty bright white. For the first month wearing them they reminded me of clown shoes, lol. I got used to it & it's worth it because they feel so much better! Also, my akles do not fit with my braces on BUT they are supportive enough that I don't need them unless I walk a ton.
