Caution! Would have given 5 stars as I have purchased this item two other times but this last one I bought started getting these huge air bubbles like big boils or blisters throughout the mat and it seemed like it happened about a week or so after I got it? I live at altitude so maybe there was a problem with production and to much air was unevenly inserted into the mix and the air bubbles are expanding like when traveling and your shampoo explodes? It is a mystery and the big bubbles ( the size of a saucer) cause the mat to be uneven so very bad for balance especially for a "mat" So I guess purchase at your own risk because I just decided to inspect the other mats and they also have seemed to develop this disease. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue? ... show more

I am very happy with this mat. It is sturdy enough to place a beam on without much jiggle, yet provides good cushioning for dismount. I only wish there was a larger 6 x 10 size. Edit: I just ordered my 3rd large mat from this company. This time, both straps are intact. The first 2 I ordered, the straps were already torn off before removing from the box. They are so light they really aren't necessary to carry them around, but are really helpful when spreading them out and changing positions. These are quality mats. We use 2 of them under bars, an 8' and a 10'. The 8 we lie flat. The 10' we fold one end under, and lay the rest on top of the 8, giving 4" of padding off the dismount side of the bar, and 2" on the other. When not in use, one fold sets the 10' section out of the way. ... show more

I would give this product 10stars if I could. My daughter uses it indoors, outdoors, and drags it up and down steps. She 11 and small for her age. But not only is it lightweight enough to drag it all over the place, it is so strong and sturdy that she uses it everyday for the last 5 months and still looks brand new. Tough leather and Velcro. Excellent quality and longer than the more expensive brand. She can do 3 back handsprings in a row on this or 2 back walkovers. (To give an idea of the size.) One of the best purchases ever made. she drug it through mud in the yard one time and I simply sprayed it off with the garden hose and used dish soap and it cleaned right up with no damage. this is a little lighter color than the picture but still good. it was plenty big and that made me happy and it works wonderful for my self taught tumbling. While it is nice to land on I gave 4 stars because it is not quite as stiff as id like, for instance doing a handstand makes my wrists sink into it uncomfortably. it is great and versatile because I can stack and layer however high I want. IF YOU DONT WANT IT SLIDING ON THE GRASS AND MAKING YOU FALL ON YOUR BUTT, buy some nonslip cupboard liners from the dollar store or perhaps a yoga mat to put underneath like I did and you can "go for it" without fear of slipping dangerously. this a nice mat for the money. ... show more

Exactly as advertised. Extra thick, durable. It definitely is somewhat hard and will take awhile to break in. My daughter did not want to do back handsprings on it because it is so hard. Great practice mat! It gets daily use and it’s easy to transfer from room to room by a 4 year old. I have the black and pink mat and my only issue is that the stitching is off a bit where the colors meet... with that being said.. it is not ripped and does not cause an issue with the use of the mat.

I was nervous ordering this big thing online. The color was not appealing in the picture. I was not sure if the firmness or the size is right. But I was totally pleased. It is nice clean blue color. 10’ is perfect for my 11 y/o daughter. The foam has enough support and right amount of softness. When you do a hand stand, you can see the mark but not sink in. The quality is very good and the price is reasonable! Definitely recommend this to anyone! The mat has velcro on the bottom so it’s not slipping on the hardwood floor. The velcro is not sticky to the carpet which’s good. This is a big plus compared to others. ... show more

These are great pads for the living room or whatever. I put two of them under a 8x10ft rug in front of our couch for our infant turning toddler. She can tumble and rumble all she wants in the living room. The pads are a little hard at dirt but break in quickly. They are well made and havnt fallen apart yet. They do fold up for storage if need be. The shipping cost was, I guess, appropriate. I compared the price of pine verses regular and the regular was cheaper with approx $40 shipping cost. Way to miss inform us about amazon prime shipping costs. Not everything is prime and when it isn't prime it still is healer all together. Thinking of dropping prime. ... show more
