All the rockers were good but after checking all the lifters I discovered 1 was faulty. I was able to push it in by hand. Had another new one that I used and all is good and quiet again. Just make sure to check all before installing. It will save you from doing the job twice.

I replaced this part on a 2013 Dodge Avenger SXT. I replaced all of these on my car. I was getting a dreaded ticking sound. This is a big job considering the shop wants over $2K. This order contains 24 kits. A kit includes the roller rocker and valve lash adjuster so there are enough to do all 24 valves. I really only found one roller rocker that the needle pin barrings had worn out and seized, the rest looked fine. I have 150K on the car so I went ahead and replaced them all. The engine purrs like a kitten. 1K miles later and going strong. The motor city mechanic on YouTube has a great instructional video on this job. ... show more

Stick with OEM, these are garbage. Sounded good after initial install. Everything was fine. Replaced all 24 by the book. Two weeks later developed a tick upon initial start on the driver side. Goes away after about 5 minutes which tells me that the lifter is not holding pressure. Save your self the headache and go with OEM parts. ... show more

You may be better off buying OEM. I installed these as a preventive measure. Then I got the dreaded Pentastar tick. The problem seems to come from the lash adjuster/lifters. After trying to pump them up full of oil and get them to behave, I eventually gave up and I put the old ones back in. So maybe some batches are okay, but not worth the labor of doing it 3 times to find out if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ... show more
