I got 3 different colors and I like this color the best (darker blue heather)- it doesn't show dirt on the sleeves like the lighter colored one did. I wipe the sweat from my face with the sleeve and my gloves, and they get dirty. I got them for doing yard work, not for fishing. Trying to hide from the sun. The sleeves are loose and I like the thumb hole - it keeps the sleeve in place with my gardening gloves on. They are no hotter than a regular t shirt. They seem well made.

Bought to wear to an outdoor festival. I also fish so it'll end up being used for that too. It kept the sun off of me and I feel like it kept me cooler than if I would've worn a regular t-shirt instead. I paired it with a wet cooling towel around my neck during the hottest part of the day and I know that combo kept me much cooler. I sunburn easily, but wearing this shirt I didn't burn at all.

Decent sun shirt. Fits good. 5'10" 190 lbs wide shoulders and avereage waist, I ordered a Large and its a good fit. The model I recieved didn't have mesh under arm areas like the previous version and the thumb holes are better on this model. The previous model just had elastic straps for the sleeve thumb hole. For the cost, I plan to keep a bunch of these around for fishing, hiking and exploring.

This hooded shirt does what it says. I wore it today and walked in the direct sun for a 10 hour shift and it kept the sun off of me, and did not make me sweat to death. The fabric feels cool, it breathes well, perfect for hot weather. HOWEVER the sizing does not make sense at all. Amazon says that a large would fit me best based on millions of reviews, but i bought a medium and the sleeves are almost too tight but are too long, the main body of the shirt fits loose, about 1 size too big, but then the hood is so large it fits loosely over a hard hat. When i tried to wear this with just a normal baseball hat, every little gust of wind would blow the hood off my head, and it has no drawstring to cinch up. To sum it up, the shirt fits sloppy, but the sleeves are very tight and also very long, and the hood is absolutely enormous. I am not a large guy. I am 5'6" and 170 lbs, with a 32 inch waist. I have fairly strong arms but i'm not a bodybuilder by any means. This shirt sizing is just insane. Stretchiness: It is not as stretchy as spandex but it is very stretchy.

Shirt is well made and comfortable. Spent some time wearing it while working in the yard, I especially like the hood feature that I can pull up under my hat to protect my neck. That was one of the main reasons I purchased this style of sun shirt. I also like the thumb holes that help keep your sleeves down, this worked great while I was out riding my Seadoo. Overall, I am happy with this buy.

I took this Roadbox UPF 50+ sun hoodie on a Caribbean cruise, and it was fantastic. Lightweight, breathable, and best of all — I didn’t burn once. I wore it for excursions, walking around the ship, and even at the beach. It kept me cool and protected under intense tropical sun. I know they say not to use it in the water because that can reduce the UPF effectiveness, but I did a little wading and it held up just fine. The material dried quickly and didn’t cling like some rash guards do. Things I loved: * The hood gave me extra protection without needing a hat. * Thumbholes helped keep the sleeves in place when moving around. * Front pocket was great for stashing sunglasses or a card. * Didn't stretch out or get saggy even after multiple wears. This is now a must-pack item for any sunny trip. I ordered the Light Floral Grey in XL, and it fit comfortably without being baggy or too snug.

Exceeded my expectations. I tested this shirt out on a hot, humid day by going for a hilly bike ride. The fabric has a very comfortable feel against the skin. The sleeves have ventilation fabric along the sides closest to the body, which allows for air transfer. The fabric wicks well. Great value

I've used this 3 or 4 times so far this summer, and as a freckled redhead, it's probably paid for itself already. I still have to remember to sunscreen my face and such, but I've spent 12+ hours in the sun and never had even a lick of discomfort. I've swam and tubed. I would order a size down maybe next time for myself, or I wish it fit a bit tighter. It can get a bit floppy when wet. But it does dry out fairly quickly.
