I have a seldom-used powder room where unbeknownst to me, the toilet tank sprang a leak. On discovering the leak, I shut off the water supply and immediately cleaned & disinfected things in a very thorough manner. Everything dried out, and I was sure my problem had been solved. Nope! Apparently the water shut off was faulty and so it trickled just enough to eventually, 3 months later, refill the toilet tank I had previously left empty. Hence, a second leak all over again in the powder room we rarely go into. The only thing that alerted me to the problem this second time was my very sensitive nose smelling something odd when I walked down the hallway nearby. Even though both times the leak was of clean water from the toilet tank and not dirty water from the toilet bowl, now there was clearly a definite problem beyond just drying things out. As a giant germaphobe, I was both extremely stressed out and extremely grossed out by this powder room situation! I wasn't sure what I should do or use, but while Googling I found this product online. I decided to phone the number listed for the Manufacturer to see if this might be the right remedy for my situation. To my surprise, not only did a pleasant person actually answer the phone, but she insisted on transferring me to another woman who was an expert on the product's formulation. I was sure the second woman would feel bothered by my call and give me a quick brush off. Not so! Not only was the second woman welcoming of my inquiry, but she spent a good 20 minutes or more on the phone with me asking me questions about my situation and explaining how best to proceed. I was amazed by the level of customer service this company provided me! I got off the phone feeling confident about making the purchase and using this RMR-141 to treat my powder room problem. It was already very late afternoon so I immediately placed my order through Amazon. Not knowing how much product I'd need, I purchased two of the spray bottle sizes and one of the gallon size jugs. I found it hard to believe, but Amazon said they'd make the delivery by 7am the next morning. Sure enough, it arrived by 6:15am the following morning. I got right to work, heavily spraying my powder room with this product. I followed the woman's advice and did not rinse it off after applying it. (You only have to rinse surfaces that will contact food.) Instead I just let it dry. After the very first application, the nasty, pungent, fungus smell that was formerly noticeable 4 feet away was now totally gone from my powder room. Clearly, this had killed whatever had started growing in there from the dampness. I continued to spray all surfaces two or three times a day, letting them dry out thoroughly between applications. I even sprayed it into the air. I did this for three or four days to be overly cautious, but I'm sure the problem was solved on day one or day two. I was so relieved and so comforted to know that with the kindness of the people at RMR and with their great product, I no longer had anything to stress and worry about. Also, because this is a disinfectant as well as a fungicide, I was no longer grossed out by the thought that anything in the room was still germy from the leak. Important to add is that for a product that's so incredibly effective, it has no chemical smell. There were no harsh fumes or strong chemical odor, and when I got some on my hand while spraying, it was literally as gentle as plain water. This RMR-141 was not only safe to use, but a pleasure to use, knowing that I didn't have to worry about anything scary or caustic. Also, while it has no built-in fragrance, it somehow leaves everything smelling clean & fresh. I LOVED that!!! When I purchased this, I also purchased some empty spray bottles to use it with, since I was sure that the spray bottles this comes in would be cheap junk and hard to use. It seems no matter how expensive a product I purchase is, it's always packaged in the cheapest possible quality spray bottle and my hand becomes a painful claw after the first several pulls of the trigger. Well, my purchase of the empty spray bottles was entirely unnecessary in this case. This product is packaged in what is hands down the best quality spray bottle of any product I have ever bought. It is so easy to use and so easy on the hand. The sprayers have a 'mist' setting and a 'stream' setting. The mist setting provides a dense and even mist. The stream setting literally shoots a powerful stream 4 to 5 feet away. This meant that I could easily spray the entire powder room down without ever having to step inside. This is clearly a company that values quality and thinks about the end user when choosing their packaging. The included spray bottles are excellent quality and they are easily refillable. I'm glad I purchased two. This RMR-141 Disinfectant/ Fungicide worked phenomenally well in tackling my emergency situation. However, based on my experience with it, I think it would be great to use around the house on a regular basis to disinfect surfaces and to keep mold and fungus at bay, and everything smelling clean and fresh. I can see myself using this regularly in my bathrooms and basement and laundry room, or anywhere there might be a musty smell. All in all this was a completely excellent experience. This company's consumer support is second to none, and the product itself is absolutely fantastic!!! By the way, even with all the heavy spraying I did, I only went through the two spray bottles, so I happily have plenty of product remaining. This stuff is worth every penny I paid for it, and more!!! Thank you, RMR!!!!

We recently moved into a new home, so we are still learning about it. The first hurricane season in the home, we had consistent rain over the course of two or three days. We noticed water around our "exposed brick" pillar in the kitchen. This was actually an old chimney chute for a wood stove back in the day, and the pillar goes through the entire house. The water was (slowly) running down the pillar, from the roof, through the attic, into the kitchen, until it hit the floor. We were able to clean that up with towels. Luckily, the rain stopped not long after that. All seemed fine until a couple months after and I went to grab a dish out of the cabinet next to the brick. It reaked like mildew. There was nothing visible in the cabinet, so I inspected all around the area. I noticed the cabinetry was pushed up against the brick, and not much was between them. The trim on the countertop also didn't have any sealant to adhere it to the brick. So water had run down into that crack. I wasn't sure how I could clean that up and worried I was about to have a big expense to get someone to rip out the cabinets and clean it. I end up finding this spray instead, and as soon as it came in, I opened it up and read the directions. I put on gloves, sprayed it into the crevice as good as I could, and the cabinets (with dishes removed) and let it sit. Within a day, the scent was gone, and it has not returned. Happy I found this!

Bought this after reading the ad on here. Smells good. But you can't stay on there breathing it. As for it killing mold and mildew. Smell goes away for a day or 2, then comes back. 🤷♂️

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING PRODUCTS! Period. Follow instructions exactly. No matter what you buy from them... absolutely superior to EVERYTHING available. Sorry, other companies. I wish I'd had these when I restored old buildings. Ahh... born too soon, lol. Mold remediation is at best a tough job. Protect yourself during application - not from the product... from the Mold. Be careful with fabrics, carpet and untreated wood, can stain... but that is stated in the instuctions too!

This is by far, the BEST!!!!!! CLEANER!!!!!! I've owned my own cleaning business for years! I've had to clean out so many homes that had mold / mildew or old spots.. this is a spray that takes any rings around the sinks gone!!!! Around the tub! Gone!! The brown marks on the ceilings! Gone!!! I can't believe how great this product is!!! It isnt a regular every day cleaner. It's only meant for fungal, mold, mildew and bacterial cleaning! 10 stars!!!!
