This is a review of the RITERA Plus Size Dresses for Curvy Women Long Sleeve Midi Casual Shirt Dress V Neck Button Down Work Dress with Pocket XL-5XL. I like the soft fabric and fun color options of this dress. The buttons are stitched on nicely, and easy to operate. However, the cut was really unflattering on me. It has a really baggy fit at the waist, and the arms are cut so short that they sit several inches from my wrist. The fabric is much thinner than I am comfortable wearing by itself, and my undergarments showed through, so I would recommend wearing this dress with a slip. Overall, this is a fine frock for lounging around the house as a house dress, but I won't be wearing it outside.

RITERA Plus Size Women's Long Sleeve Midi Shirt Dresses Casual V Neck Button Down Work Dress with Belt and Pocket 2025 XL-5XL This A-line flared style dress is my fashion choice. The staand up collar, long sleeve, an midi length are very flattering. The pockets are an added bonus. The bright florals on a black background lends itself to be worn year-round. The sleeves feature an inside strap and bottom to convert it a 3/4 length. It comes with a self belt which I will probably use as a hat band. The fabric is light-weight. An undergarment will probably be needed because the fabric is oddly see through. The main complaint I have of the garment is in the construction. Both pockets are not completely sewn shut. This means I will have to re-sew them in order to use the pockets.

I really like this dress. I'll explain why shortly, but let me get the issues out the way first. For reference, I'm 5'3", have a large chest, wear between a 14/16 in US sizing but usually order a 16 due to my large bust. As of late, I fit more straight sizing vs plus sizing (which is new for me). Now the issues: The sizing is off. Based on the chart and measurements, I ordered the XL. I knew I'd have a little more room vs straight sizing but this is off by a lot. This is easily two sizes off. So, size down (one or two sizes). I don't look overwhelmed by the dress and the belt helps offset the looseness but it's clear the sizing chart is off as it shouldn't be this large on me based on my measurements (it's off all over). That being said, I love this dress! The good: I love the floral pattern. I know another reviewer didn't care for it so much, but I find it lovely. I like that there is a saturation of the floral print in various areas (but the floral print is all over). You'll find it on the shoulder area, in the pockets and around the hem. I think it's pretty. The length is great on me. I'm short and this falls like a midi, mid-calf. I think this will work for folks of varying heights just level set your expectations (meaning, it may be shorter or longer depending on your height). The description says the sleeves are 3/4 however, they are full sleeves on me. I like it! The material is great. It almost feels like a linen dress although I know the material composition says something else. It has a great drape and flow. It's an A-line dress but has some movement. All of the buttons are fully functional. The pockets (yay! it has pockets) are fully functional. I can put my cell phone in and it stays put. The buttons on the [full-length] sleeves are functional and aren't too difficult for me to button or unbutton (I prefer them buttoned). There is a strap in the inside of the sleeve to roll/bring up the cuff if you wish. Overall, I really like this dress. Yes, the sizing is off but I still look put together and neat. I'm not swimming in it even though it's a large on me. Again, order a size (possibly two) down as it's very generous. I really like the material and I love the floral print. I would highly recommend this dress if you can get the sizing right.

The stress is so flattering, I got tons of compliments when I was wearing it out! The fabric is not super soft, but it feels like a good solid cotton fabric, and I bet it will soften with wash. Lightweight and comfortable, breezy and fun. I really love the cut and style of this dress... I plan to order more in different colors!

This dress is made well with good quality fabric. It is a button-up shirt dress with a belt. It has belt loops to keep the belt in place. I LOVE that it has pockets!! Normally I’m not a huge fan of floral patterns, but I thought this one would “break up” the black and make it seem a bit dressier. In the end, I didn’t like the pattern as much as I thought I would. I was also initially concerned because the dress is a little see through (see image), but it doesn’t seem see-through when actually being worn. (But I didn’t test this in outdoor sunlight…so I don’t know for sure) Additionally, there are some flaws: 1. There is just something off about the sizing. I got the 2XL (based on their size chart it should be the right size), but it is huge, especially the lower half of the dress! And, the cut was just not flattering at all! 2. The sleeve length was perfect for me, but I have shorter arms. That means that if you have normal-length or longer arms, the sleeves will be short on you. 3. The collar was weird as well. It was almost as if it was too heavy for the dress and kept falling backwards (toward my back/shoulders) rather than staying at the neck. I really wanted to love this dress, but it’s just not it. The picture in the listing was so pretty, but in reality it was a fail for me. It’s a shame because it’s made with really nice material and is a comfortable dress, but just not flattering at all.

This cute shirt dress fits me perfectly, and has pockets, a belt, and turn-up sleeves with straps to hold them up. It is not too hot to wear on a summer day, and the option of wearing the sleeves long is wonderful if the air conditioning is turned up a bit too much. The dress was pretty wrinkled when I unpackaged it, but I wore it for the first time after a quick toss in the dryer. It went through my normal wash and dry routine with no shrinkage or fading. It was left in the dryer overnight and was, unsurprisingly, quite wrinkled in the morning. This is a shirtweight, cotton fabric that will need to be taken out of the dryer promptly or ironed.
