Reviewing Kiss Me You Fool shade. I wore this lipstick while eating a greasy turkey leg at a festival…and it actually stayed. No transfer, no feathering. I didn’t even feel the need to touch it up after eating. I could probably end my review right there. But I’ll add that beyond the impressive wear longevity, I do like the finish of this lipstick. I initially wore it without the gloss topper, wanting more of a matte look, but found the pigment too sticky on its own. With the gloss, however, the stickiness is gone. And it isn’t a high-shine gloss, either; it’s slightly shinier than a “satin finish,” but not too much. I do have to apply a couple of layers to get the depth of color I want, but I found that to be true of every liquid lipstick I’ve tried. Good pigment, nicely opaque, not sheer. Compared to other matte “ink” lipsticks I wear often, I haven’t had the same problems with pilling/flaking or uneven, chunky applications with this one. It also doesn’t snag on my lips if they are a little dry. But fair warning: you must use “waterproof makeup remover” with this. My regular cleanser didn’t even smear it. This has become one of my favorite reds to wear, and you can’t beat the price. Wear it and eat greasy foods with confidence, y’all. ... show more

I have super sensitive lips that’s allergic to all types of lipstick, so I can never wear regular lipstick or most lip balms with plant waxes. I also am genetically blessed with tinted lips and people always mistaken it for natural looking lipstick, so to have more of a visible color I bought both Kiss Me You Fool (bright red) and Play With Fire (dark red). As a test to see if I’m allergic to it, upon first application on dry lips after a good lip scrub the Kiss Me You Fool color stayed on my lips well but it did get onto my teeth as I’m trying to get into the inner lips that’s visible when I smile, which can be easily cleaned up with a cotton swab. I keep my mouth open for about a minute as the instruction reads, then apply the gloss over to seal in the color. After 30 minutes, a little bit of color and gloss transfers to my hand when I’m testing if it’s transfer-proof. However, the color is still intact on my lips! No signs of it wearing away from the kiss on my hand. I realized that the gloss needs to cover every millimeter of the color in order for it to have the least bit of transfer which was evident the second time I used it with Play With Fire. I have worn both colors for over 6hrs and no breakouts or signs of allergy! I can’t wait to use this on my wedding day! ... show more

I tried two different colors...."Just Teasing" and "Wish Upon a Berry". Both had great pigment and they stayed on ALL DAY without reapplying. I used their top coat when I first applied then, throughout the day, I used Chap Stick on top. My lips never felt dry and the pigment never came off. I can say that, in my "older years (60)," the Just Teasing is a bit TOO bright red for me and looks a bit harsh. Whereas the Wish Upon a Berry had a more natural look while still giving me a definite boost in color. I already ordered more Wish Upon a Berry but will be giving my 30 yr old daughter the deeper red Just Teasing. ... show more

Review for Rimmel Provocalip Lip Stain Color "Just Teasing" on February 9, 2023. The good: this product is safety sealed in more than one way. It arrives in a sealed bag and has a safety seal that covers both the color side and the lock and shine side. The safety seal breaks when you open each side of the product. This ensures that you have not received a product that has been previously opened, tried and contaminated with bacteria/viruses (you can research this issue further online). I appreciate the safety seals provided for this product and in comparison, find this desirable feature lacking on some competitor's products. This product has good lip coverage and It is also long lasting. The bad: the photos of the color that you select for each color vary from photo to photo and some are inaccurate, making it difficult to select a complementary color. Also, the name given for each color are cute but not descriptive of the color. I thought that the color that I received would be brighter, based on the photos of the tube and the photos of the color as it appears on a variety of lip models. Instead it is dark and looks very different from most of the photos for this color shown on the Amazon website. I would describe the "Just Teasing" color as a dark burgundy color. ... show more
