Installed easily, works as it should. The only thing to be careful of is to make sure it will fit your around handlebar and whatever you have mounted on it. If you have a center mounted computer or e-bike display, it may be difficult to mount the bar across it since the pacing between the top of the handlebar and the bottom of the new crossbar is only about 1.4". ... show more

Just what I was looking for for both of our bikes. Makes it so out lights are centered on the cockpit Straight forward install. No instructions. But you take the the inserts out of the handlebar side. The thin parts of the insert can be used on the handlebar side of the clamps. So they clamp snug on the handlebars. The larger insert can be used to mount your light on the tube. Center everything from left to right.Make sure the bar is straight, then tighten down. Super lightweight product. My advice make sure this is product is not much higher than your handlebars of sticking upward, for safety reasons, in the event if a crash. You will not be caught in anything. ... show more

I'm assuming it was stepped on at some point. I stuffed it right back into it's envelope going to return soon as I can. I'll upload a pictures soon

    • Not great for smaller diameter handlebars (22.2 mm)
It took a lot of effort to get this mounted without the bar dropping down on when hitting bumps. The included spacers don't work well on a 22.2 mm handlebar. The bar comes with 25.4 mm to 31.8 mm spacers. Also included are a second set of slimmer spacers to shim the 22.2 mm to 25.4 mm. These did not work as even with the screws tightened all the way down, the bar was still loose and would work its way down with every bump. After much trial and error and improvising with my own shims cut from old tire tubes, I was able to get it mostly steady by using sections of old tires to replace the 22.2 mm to 25.4 mm slim spacers. I'm waiting for some proper 22.2 mm to 31.8 mm shims to arrive to see if it gets a better grip. I'll update this review again once I've got the better shims installed and taken it for a few rides. Good price, but expect to put some of your own time and effort into getting it mounted stable. ... show more

    • More space is a big positive
My son's electric bike has handlebars that are jam packed. This mounting bar has helped in making things much more tidy. I even had room for an additional headlight. This has sleeves that fit into the mounting brackets/clamps for different sized handlebars. Regardless of how tight you clamp these on, they will allow some movement when you attach heavier things like our battery powered headlight. Not much, but over bumpy terrain the heavy weight of this light slowly moves it downward. Not too big of a deal, but I wish it didn't. By hand I just pull it back into place. ... show more
