I got these for my middle daughter, but I didn’t look at the sizing correctly. Luckily they fit my youngest daughter perfect. The quality of the skates are really good. They lace up nice and tight and the lace hooks are solid. I had our local ice rink sharpen them and we got some nice blade covers for them. I really like the pink detail in the skates. I recently gifted these figure skates to my sister, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. The boots offer the right amount of support and allow for freedom of movement, making them perfect for recreational skating. The plush hand-rolled collar and brushed tricot lining add to the comfort factor. The open throat design and flex notch lacing system make the skates comfortable to wear for hours, and the higher toe box design ensures that the toes remain comfortable. The sizing chart provided is accurate, and my sister found the perfect fit. The microfiber material used in the skates makes them ultra-durable, and the added reinforcement ensures that the boots and blades will last for a long time. I bought these for my teenage daughter who used to do figure skating, but now just hobby skates. I wanted something that allowed her to use her skills but didn't break the bank. Below is her opinion on the skates. I had really high hopes for these skates when I saw the brand. I've had a long history with reidell. I've used them for about six years, and I've had everything from almost the cheapest to close to the top. The ruby levels are a really nice pair that falls right in the middle. The padding on the inside of the skates isn't rough or hard or scratchy, which is a huge but really common problem. It's really hard to land a jump when the inside of the boot feels like a rock covered in sandpaper. The boots fit really well to your foot, but have a really nice stiffness to the leather. They offer really nice support for takeoff and landing, but they still flex enough to bend your ankle for glides or spins. The blades come presharpened and don't nick to easily. They're a good width that makes it easy for beginners to stand/glide and are thin enough for more advanced skaters to take angles for tricks. On the back they have even stiffer material which shockingly a lot of brands don't have. That's always really nice and supports your foot so you can skate for long periods of time with out discomfort or pain. Lots of other brands dig into your foot crush your foot or don't support the back of your ankle which not only makes your foot sore but can cause serious injury. This is a really good mix of qualities for all levels of skill. ... show more

I love the fit and quality of these (well specifically, my 11 yo daughter does). They have that classic matte white look, and they arrived clean and polished and ready to skate. She says they're as comfortable as any skates she's worn before. Pay close attention to the size guide as when we ordered these they were using overseas sizing, so check with the chart to make sure you're getting the right/applicable size for you. ... show more

These are way cuter in person, I didn’t realize it came with all the little pink crystals on it. They seem very sturdy and durable. Sizing is accurate, I would recommend on sizing up so you can wear thicker socks if needed. These tie up nicely and are comfortable for the most part, will need some breaking in, only rubbed on my heel a little bit. These ice skates are of fantastic quality! My wife needed a new pair, and these were perfect for her recreational needs. She loves the comfort and control they provide her during a session on the ice. Like all new skates, they did need to be sharpened at a pro shop, but once that was done, she was off to the races and loved using these. There isn't a thing she'd change about them. ... show more
